MAKE JESUS KING
Wednesday – December 26, 2018, Tevet 18, 5779
Greetings precious brothers and sisters in Christ. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas celebration never losing your focus on the Christ in the celebration (mas). Also, it is not to late to contribute to this ministry if you are looking for good ground to sow into and see a very real harvest. We give into one ministry or another as we are led of Holy Spirit, we do it because we value that ministry and to sow into good ground and reap a harvest (spiritual law of seedtime and harvest). Scripture tells us that God is not mocked, whatsoever we sow we will reap in turn but not one for one but multiplied and running over. So, we sow in faith, in love (obedience to the leadership of Holy Spirit), led of Holy Spirit, with the only possible outcome (hope) being a spiritual and physical harvest in our life for the glory of God. Now let’s turn our attention to the Bible Study at hand from the Book of John.
John 6:14-15 (KJV)
14 Then those men, when they had seen the miracle that Jesus did, said, This is of a truth that prophet that should come into the world.
15 When Jesus therefore perceived that they would come and take him by force, to make him a king, he departed again into a mountain himself alone.
Jesus has done many miracles in the sight of the people including feeding the five thousand. Now, remember, this is to be our life as well! We are to do as He did and the greater works.
John 14:12 (KJV)
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
They should want us to be king, or in charge as well, like Joseph and Daniel.
Genesis 41:38-40 (KJV)
38 And Pharaoh said unto his servants, Can we find such a one as this is, a man in whom the Spirit of God is?
39 And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Forasmuch as God hath shewed thee all this, there is none so discreet and wise as thou art:
40 Thou shalt be over my house, and according unto thy word shall all my people be ruled: only in the throne will I be greater than thou.
Daniel 1:20 (KJV)
20 And in all matters of wisdom and understanding, that the king enquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm.
Dear brother and sister what has happened to the Church, the redeemed of the Lord? Why is this not commonly said of us? Why are we not the head instead of the tail? Why are we not found to be ten times better in wisdom and understanding than the heathen? Short answer, we, the Church, failed to develop faith in the Word of God or place it in the very highest place and we have been dumbed down by the deceptions of Satan right in Church. Have you ever been told in Church by any leader that God expects you to be ten times better than any heathen in your called area of expertise? Daniel and the three Hebrew children were operating under a lesser Covenant and they excelled where we fail miserably. We think that martyrdom is good even desirable, that is a deception of the devil and to be rejected totally. The Hebrew children were thrown in the furnace, Daniel into the lions’ den, Joseph into the pit and into prison and all were rescued by the hand of God by faith and ruled in a heathen land. Think about this brother and sister and let us arise and do the exploits we are called to do. Victory starts on our face before God determining the will and way of God. Never forget we are far above everything and anything that is named not only now in this world but in all that is to come. We are in Christ Jesus!!!
Ephesians 1:19-23 (KJV)
19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: (Bold added by Dr. Wood)
22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,
23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.
Back to our text for a moment. It was not the time for Jesus to be King however He is now King of this spiritual kingdom and soon He will rule the earth as King from Jerusalem.

Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
