WAKE UP CHURCH
Monday – December 31, 2018, Tevet 23, 5779

This is much of the Church today. It may seem humorous on first glance but this picture is deadly. Many are weak, sick, and even dead before time due to this devastating condition of the Church and, yes, this almost certainly includes your Church. The Church today is in a very precarious place where they think they are awake and faithfully serving God but are instead in a deceptive slumber. God has not had me write a real strong Word to the Church recently but has many times in the past and today, published the last day of 2018 is a day He has chosen (written 2 December 2018). Greetings precious saints of the only living God and welcome back to the last publication of The Three Minute Word for 2018.
This strong word rose up within me when a particular song recently came to my attention, more about that in a few moments, but first consider this. Recently the Lord gave me a very unique and sobering insight into the Communion observed in Christian Churches. The Communion or Eucharist is intimately related to and even reflects the marriage proposal of ancient Israel. First consider the following passage commonly associated with the taking of Communion in Church.
1 Corinthians 11:26-31 (KJV)
26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till he come.
27 Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.
28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.
29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body.
30 For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.
31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.
The question is this; what is meant by partaking of Communion in an unworthy manner? In ancient Israel when a potential groom had selected a potential help meet, bride, he would come to her with a goblet of wine. He would tell her that he loved her, that he gave all of himself, all that he was, all that he had to her and then handed the goblet of wine to the woman. I hope that you recognize that the groom like Christ is offering his body and his blood. He is asking her to partake of his body and his blood just as Jesus told the disciples and tells us and we commemorate in the Communion. The potential bride (you and me) then takes the cup or not, drinks of the cup when taken, and repeats the covenant back to the groom that she gives all of her, all that she is, and all that she has. At that point the Covenant is set and the groom would go back to his fathers’ house (just like Jesus) and prepare a place for them and returned only with the father’s permission when all was ready. The commitment and the actions of the bride cannot be less than those of the groom. If the commitment or the actions of the bride falter the marriage is in trouble. This of course applies to an earthly marriage or our marriage to Christ Jesus. To partake of Communion in an unworthy manner is to partake when we have not given all to the groom, Christ Jesus. Church, let us all, each one before the Lord repent, cleanse our lives, surrender all to Christ Jesus, and focus on the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and let Him take care of us as we take care of Kingdom business as our focus. Children, He has nothing but good thoughts towards us, nothing but good plans, let us trust Him throwing ourselves wholly upon Him.
Now to the song. The title is “Great I Am” and the passage I am referring to goes like this: “The mountains shake before Him, The Demons run and flee, At the mention of the name King of Majesty! There is no power in hell, or any who can stand, before the power and the presence of the great I Am! The great I Am, the great I Am! The great I Am, the great I Am, the great I Am!”
Now, let me ask, what is the problem here? Who has authority in the earth and through whom does the Power of God flow? In case you are struggling with that, the answer to both questions is that we have authority in the earth and the Power of God flows through us saints of God. The Power of God does not flow independent of a person welding authority. Jesus regained all authority in Heaven and in earth and promptly passed it back to mankind (Kingdom kids). The Holy Spirit was given to us, the Kingdom kids, the sons and daughters of the Most High God to minister in the earth.
It is illegal for God to do things or declare things in the earth independent of a man (person). We, the Church, are asking God to do all kinds of things that are not going to happen, period. The word “ask” in most Scripture passages means to make a demand upon the Covenant from our position in Christ Jesus who is in the Father. We operate in the earth in the name that is above every name. We are not waiting for some future time for every knee to bow at the name of Jesus, that day is now, that day has been since Jesus arose from the dead and was seated at the right hand of the Father. Jesus is part of our name and every knee will bow before us. Jesus is in Heaven at the right hand of the Father, we have been given Holy Spirit to do the same things Jesus did and the greater things. The same Power that responded to the Word of God that brought all things into existence is the same power in us, the very same Power that was welded by the I Am in the creation of all things. When we walk by faith, in love, led of Holy Spirit we will get the same results as Christ Jesus and we will do the greater things. We must understand without any shadow of doubt that we have the authority and when exercise His Power flows according to faith and the will of God. This is just as Jesus when Jesus walked the earth, and Adam before Him. Church let us put away our false humility and step into the place Christ Jesus prepared for us at Calvary.
Dear Church when will we sing; The mountains shake before us, the demons run and flee before us, because they see that name above every name, the King of Majesty upon us? There is no power in hell or any man who can stand before us, the Power of the I Am is in me, in me. When will we pick up the mantle Jesus left us which has pretty much been undisturbed for 2000 years? Please do no neglect this Word of the Lord, let us not be weak, sickly, and dying prematurely. Let us step fully into the place of being worthy, Jesus gave all, let us give all.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it by faith in Jesus name!
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
