This is Thanksgiving week and we encourage everyone to look around, look inside, and see all the things for which we can be thankful. As I have said before, for those born again, no matter their temporary circumstances, can be thankful that we are not headed for eternity in Hell. Our future is eternity in Heaven with our Father and our Lord. Beyond that remember that all things in this earth whether in our bodies or outside our bodies are temporal. Whatever our circumstances, they are not of God! What!? They are the result of our thoughts and words. God upholds all natural and spiritual law which includes our thoughts and words whether they be good or bad. So, if we change our thoughts and words, we change our world (circumstances). We change our thoughts and words by an act of the will with the renewing of the mind and meditating the Word of God. Quit meditating the devil’s stuff in Jesus name! Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text and read it aloud, yes, out loud.
John 18:37-40 (KJV)
37 Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.
38 Pilate saith unto him, What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and saith unto them, I find in him no fault at all.
39 But ye have a custom, that I should release unto you one at the passover: will ye therefore that I release unto you the King of the Jews?
40 Then cried they all again, saying, Not this man, but Barabbas. Now Barabbas was a robber.
Jesus is just moments from the Cross. The central purpose of His coming to earth was to destroy the works of the devil. He has recovered all and again for all who believe, we bring Heaven into the earth, the Garden of Eden, by faith, in love, led of the Holy Spirit. These are not fairy tales this is the Truth, the Truth the Jews of that day would not receive, believe, speak, and act upon. What about the organized traditional Church today? As we proceed into verse thirty-eight we can almost hear the sarcasm in Pilate’s voice. A very large portion of the Church today don’t believe in absolute Truth. What kind of feed are the Pastors giving out? Obviously not the Truth. All absolute Truth has it origins in the mind and mouth of God and should be ever present in our minds and mouth. Again Pilate goes out to Jesus’ accusers and says that he can find no fault with Jesus. The traditional organized Church leaders of that day wanted Jesus dead, out of sight for sure. Nothing is changed, if you talk to much Truth you will not fit in the traditional organized Church either.
Next, we see Pilate offer the Church leaders an alternative. It was the custom on Passover to release a prisoner, as a show of good will. He offers to release Jesus, “the King of the Jews”. Again, some degree of sarcasm is heard. It is like Pilate knows they will reject the offer. In the fortieth (40 = testing) verse we see the rulers of the traditional organized Church of the day clammer for Barabbas, a robber, to be released and “not this man”. Are the people today clamoring for robbers and not the Truth? The whole thrust of those on the left, the Democrats, is wickedness which leads to nothing but stealing, killing, and destroying. Why would millions of people rejoice and fight to put robbers in office? We have been watching the heathen rage and this day in Jerusalem the heathen are raging. Yes, leaders of the traditional organized Church but in league with the heathen. What an awful testimony, but history is repeating even now.
Psalm 2:1-4 (KJV)
1 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,
3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.
The Truth would make the people free, free from the manipulative control of the ruling religious leaders in every area of their lives. The love of money or other gods brings out all kinds of evil acts, the love of God brings out all kinds of righteous acts.

2 Chronicles 20:20b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.

24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
