REMEMBER WHAT I TELL YOU
Monday – June 1, 2020, Sivan 9, 5780

Greetings dear and precious saints of God and welcome back to this powerful and insightful Bible Study of the Book of John. Please take a moment to share this as widely as possible. As I sit and write this Monday thru Thursday Bible Study of the Book of John on the 4th of May the nation and the Church community is embroiled in confused, paranoid, and wide-ranging discussions about the Coronavirus. Many Pastors have opened their Churches and many are set to open their Churches in the next week or two (from May 4th) in defiance of the State and local governing authorities. Christians and heathens alike are antsy, impatient, with the quarantine restrictions for a variety of reasons. That is not a good reason to defy the laws of our Nation, State, or locality. But by far and most importantly it is not a reason to defy the law of God. This pandemic has brought economic havoc into millions of lives. Tragically tens of thousands have died. Where is the Church?
Perhaps Pastors are eager to regain their platform, re-establish cash flow, and regain control of “their” people, only they and God know their hearts. At the present time, fact and fiction is difficult to distinguish except by the revelation of God. We hear everything from this virus is nothing, it is all a hoax, to we are all going to die. Neither is correct; however, this is a serious and sometimes lethal infection. People argue that “only 2 in 100” die of this. The question is this: which two people’s death is acceptable to you? What are the Prophets saying with regard to this pestilence and what are they saying about the idea of reopening Church? Once again, I suggest you read the Word the Lord gave me on the 15th of March and reflect on it in light of what you know right now.

As Church leaders make plans to open their Churches in defiance of the civil governing authorities’ guidelines, consider the following. Are we being asked to violate any of God’s moral laws? No, we are not. Some have objected to the term nonessential being applied to the Church but is that a cause for civil disobedience? Is the following passage still in the Bible?
Romans 13:1-4 (KJV)
1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.
3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:
4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.
When a Church is opened in violation of the Emergency Mandates legally put in place, the subsequent natural consequences (which can be substantial) are the least of our problems. The consequences of violating God’s law which takes us outside His protective umbrella are far greater. This is sin, it is being in a place of darkness, and without repentance has eternal consequences. As devastating as this virus is and has been in and out of the Church, we would be wise to ask ourselves why is this and a multitude of other awful things happening. The simple short answer is unbelief, our failure to exercise our authority, faith in the traditions of men, and the doctrine of devils all of which is devoid of power in our individual lives and the Church. Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text in John.
John 16:4-7 (KJV)
4 But these things have I told you, that when the time shall come, ye may remember that I told you of them. And these things I said not unto you at the beginning, because I was with you.
5 But now I go my way to him that sent me; and none of you asketh me, Whither goest thou?
6 But because I have said these things unto you, sorrow hath filled your heart.
7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
Jesus is in the last hours of His earthly Ministry before the Cross and is giving them and us much instruction. Jesus, the Word, is about to return to the Father and is forewarning them so when all the events of the Cross and Resurrection take place they will remember. Do we suppose that He really wants us paying attention today to the whole of Scripture so we can see the enemy afar off and be well equipped to deal with the enemy and the curse? Like then, I believe He is saying to us, remember what I tell you. As we will see moving forward in our study there was tremendous unbelief among the disciples at first but that changed and by the Day of Pentecost, they were strong in faith and then in Power (Day of Pentecost). All Holy Spirit baptized persons since then who chose to operate in faith, powered by love, led by the Holy Spirit have had the flow of great power in their lives. What about me?
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
