KEYS OF THE KINGDOM GOD HAS GIVEN US

Greetings dear children of God and all others and welcome to this teaching of the keys of the Kingdom of God, binding and loosing. I don’t know about you and your Church, but I don’t hear much at all about these keys and our authority to use them for the Kingdom. I hear a lot about asking God to do all kinds of stuff that is in our authority, in our jurisdiction and our responsibility to do. Once we speak the Power of God and Holy Angels go to work. It seems to me this is a vital tool mostly unused by the body of Christ (the Church – Ekklesia). Let’s move to some Scripture.
Matthew 16:18-19 (KJV)
18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
Peter has just declared the Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God and Jesus commends him for hearing from Heaven. This is before the Cross and Jesus goes on to tell them, prophesy, a part of the results of the Cross. The Church, Ekklesia, is built upon the work of the Messiah, the Son of the living God. Because in Hell He will completely strip Satan leaving him with only a voice of deception, just as in the Garden of Eden. Our spiritual enemies, not flesh and blood, will tell us we can’t do this or that, but it is a lie, a deception, nothing can stand against the Church. Are we seeing this? No! The Church has backed into the four corners of the Church meeting places. It is well past time that each of us know who we are in Christ Jesus, what is our authority, and exercise that authority backed by Heaven.
Our primary text tells us that whatever we bind or forbid Heaven will back up and whatever we allow Heaven will allow. Look at the mess we have allowed! Let me remind us of the following Scripture.
Hebrews 1:3 (KJV)
3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
Did you notice the phrase “upholding all things by the word of his power”? Jesus is seeing to it that the laws of the Kingdom, that is both spiritual and physical, are working as implemented without prejudice (without injustice). Binding and loosing is a key, a law of the Kingdom, that we have a responsibility to exercise with our mouth in faith in love. Jesus looked to the Father for what to bind and loose, we are to do the same.
John 14:10-12 (KJV)
10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake.
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
Jesus found out what the Father wanted done, He then spoke the will of God into the earth, and the Father (by agency of the Holy Spirit) did the works. One with authority in the earth, which is you and I dear ones must speak the will of God for God to do His will in the earth. Oh no the God in control sacred cow religious folks just melted down.
TAKE HOME:
- Binding and loosing are keys of the Kingdom of God given us with the responsibility and authority to use.
- Jesus is upholding all things by the word of His Power.
- Do we speak the will of God in faith walking in love and are fully persuaded He will do the works. This can be to loose (allow) something or bind (forbid) something.
As the Lord wills, I will return tomorrow with more revelation on binding and loosing. Remember, we love you, the Lord loves you, and there is nothing you can do about either one.
