CREATED IN CHRIST JESUS UNTO GOOD WORKS
Friday – November 4, 2016

Greeting from Eastern Gate Ministries International and The Three Minute Word publication. It is our prayer that these teachings, the uncovering of what was not previously seen or utilized, will comfort and strengthen each one who chooses to have ears to hear and eyes to see. It is Friday and once again I remind us all to pray for the Church. The wickedness in America is not due to the heathen, it is not the structure of government, and it is not the people in government, it is the Church. We have chosen to allow this wickedness and now we are whining about it like innocent bystanders. Like the world we are blaming everyone but ourselves, ‘surely it is not me’ we say. Talk to God (pray) and find out. Back to Ephesians.
Ephesians 2:8-10 (KJV)
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
Yesterday I left off with the fact that we are His workmanship created in Christ Jesus to do good works. Now the verse, the sentence does not end there, it goes on to say; “which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” So who chose the good works that we are to walk in? God our Heavenly Father! Is there anointing on self-ordained good works? No, No, and No! God has already chosen the good works, ordained them (given His Anointing to accomplish), and now we make the choice to walk in them or not. Where do you figure the smart money is? Is the smart money on what we chose for good works or what He has chosen as good works to accomplish for His glory. We are created in Christ Jesus. Please do not lose sight of the fact, the reality, that we are created in Christ Jesus. We are in the Messiah and all that means, with unfettered access to the fullness of salvation. We have the modeling of the Anointed One showing us the way. And we have the Anointing (Holy Spirit) all over us like being immersed in water, and filling us. Chose to not only have the Spirit of God within but filling to overflowing. All the while Jesus is the head of the Kingdom of God, the director, and we are the kings and priests He is directing to accomplish all of the good works ordained of the Father. The following passage points out that we are in Christ and that we are new creatures, new creations. And we see some of the good work we have been ordained to do and that is reconciliation, we are Ambassadors in the earth to a fallen world.
2 Corinthians 5:17-20 (KJV)
17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.
Jesus told us that those who believe on Him shall do the works that He did and greater works. He went to the Father so the Holy Spirit could come, nothing is out of our reach by the will of God. Do we really believe this, the proof is in the pudding.
John 14:12 (KJV)
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
And once again let me remind us all of the seven overarching orders of God for us in the earth and beyond. Although each of us have our individual unique niche and special place in the Kingdom of God. We are all well equipped to be successful accomplishing the seven eternal mandates of God. In addition, we have been given unique natural talents and spiritual gifts which equip each of us to accomplish all of God’s will concerning our special part in the Kingdom.
Genesis 1:26-28 (KJV)
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
Genesis 2:15-17 (KJV)
15 And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.
16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
We have been given authority in the earth to be exercised at our will, whether it is natural or supernaturally supported depends on whether the exercise of our authority was according to the will of God. We have been given the Blessing who according to the will of God empowers what we do. We are to be fruitful, to multiply, to replenish, and to subdue the earth. We are to take care of what is given us of God, we are to guard what is given us of God, and we are not to mix and act upon our knowledge of good and evil. We can know about and must know about evil but understanding that the good always triumphs over the evil when we operate in the will of God focused on Him not the problems about us. Each of us chose moment to moment if we will step into the good works prepared by our Heavenly Father from the beginning.
