AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH

HE WENT FORTH
Greetings dear and precious saints of the only living God and welcome back to this engaging Bible Study of the Book of John. Before proceeding please take a moment to share this teaching as widely as possible. God is so good, we must tell the good, good news. Today is election day here in the United States. If you have not voted already please do so to fulfill your civic responsibility to government and your spiritual responsibility to God. Voting is a stewardship issue both in the natural and the spiritual. Be sure you have reviewed a reliable Christian Voter Guide and/or have read both the Republican and Democrat platforms. Then give thanks to God for the reelection of President Trump. I am sure you all are aware that COVID-19 is surging across the country and around the world. Why? This is what the Lord said to me Sunday. “My people have not repented.” He also gave me this verse – Isaiah 5:21. He went on to say; “They have gone the way of Cain”. The associated verse is Jude 1:11. Finally, He said; “I have given a space of time for repentance.” The associated verse is Revelation 2:21. I strongly recommend that you do back and again read the Prophecy, Word of the Lord, given March 15, 2020. Now, let’s dive into our Bible lesson and start by reading our primary Bible text aloud, yes, out loud.
John 17:26 (NLT)
26 I have revealed you to them, and I will continue to do so. Then your love for me will be in them, and I will be in them.”
As we studied yesterday the way to the Father, the way into the Kingdom of God, the one and only way is through Jesus the Christ, the Messiah. The way to God has always been the Word and even now is the Word. Eternal life comes only by way of the shed Blood of Jesus Christ. Before the Cross the righteous Old Testament saints’ spirits (soul and spirit) were kept in a partitioned space in Hell known as the bosom of Abraham. Review the account of the rich man and Lazarus the beggar (Luke 16:19-31). Following the Cross and Resurrection at physical death our spirit/soul slips out of this physical body and is taken to Heaven. Later at the Resurrection we will receive a glorified body like unto the one Jesus now has. The revelation of the Father has always come through the Word, the Word of God, the Word (Jesus).
Now, let’s deal for a moment with the love (agape) of the Father being in us and Jesus in us. There are two aspects of this I want to mention and then I will move on. First is the fact that our spiritual DNA is from the Father, exact duplicate in kind. The same love (agape) that the Father loved Jesus with, and Jesus loves us with, is the exact same love that we love God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit with as well as other peoples and ourselves. Love (agape) is spirit and is a fruit of our spirit.
Galatians 5:22-23 (KJV)
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
The manifestation of love that must grow eternally is obedience to the Word of God, a selfless lifestyle, and adherence to the Blood Covenant. These things are love, agape, the God kind of love.
Next is that Jesus is the Word of God and we are to renew our minds (heart) with the Word of God, so in this way Jesus is within us. Our soul or mind is our responsibility to renew with the Word. Our soul also has a will, and emotions. It is our responsibility to align our will with Gods’. It is also our responsibility to align our emotions with Gods’. As we studied yesterday, at salvation, the Holy Spirit makes alive our dead spirit man and abides with us, with our spirit man. This is how God communicates with us. The Holy Spirit speaks to our spirit which is connected to our heart (mind) and we get the message. The demons communicate with us exactly the same way. We must distinguish the two and one of the major ways is the inward witness and the other the Word of God. If what is being said is not in agreement with the Word of God reject it. This highlights the necessity of studying the Word of God and having good counsel. Now for a few moments let’s move into chapter eighteen.
John 18:1-4 (KJV)
1 When Jesus had spoken these words, he went forth with his disciples over the brook Cedron, where was a garden, into the which he entered, and his disciples.
2 And Judas also, which betrayed him, knew the place: for Jesus ofttimes resorted thither with his disciples.
3 Judas then, having received a band of men and officers from the chief priests and Pharisees, cometh thither with lanterns and torches and weapons.
4 Jesus therefore, knowing all things that should come upon him, went forth, and said unto them, Whom seek ye?
Jesus went forth to the very place where it would be easy for Judas, the band of men, officers of the chief priests, and Pharisees to find Him. Perhaps where they were going after the “last supper” was discussed during that meal before Judas the traitor went to the High Priests. Before he received the thirty pieces of silver and led them to the place, they could take Jesus into custody. Examine this map which I think we will all find very interesting about all of this.
I have taught before how the gospel after Jesus traveled east to west, so was it in the Tabernacle, the Temple, and this night to the Cross from the Garden. The deceiver (Satan has entered Judas [John 13:27] but he was a deceiver, a thief, in effect a traitor all along) is now leading an armed band to take Jesus into custody but Jesus already knew more about all that was to happen than anyone else involved. As you may recall they were hesitant to take Jesus into custody during the Passover since the people considered Him a prophet. But here they are on the 14th of Nisan when the Passover lambs are slain and The Passover Lamb is to be slain for the sins of the world.

2 Chronicles 20:20b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
