PROPHECY FULFILLED

Greetings dear and precious saints, brothers and sisters, sons of the only living God. Welcome to this in depth and empowering Bible Study of the Book of John. Please take a moment and share this teaching as widely as possible to further the reach of the Truth, the reach of this Ministry. Thank you for doing that dear friends and partners of this Ministry. The featured picture today is a recent photo of a beautiful sunset at Miller Pond in Pittsfield and was supplied by our good friend Joe Getchell Jr. We are in difficult times on the one hand but with opportunity for astonishing advancements in the Kingdom of God on the other hand. Never forget, we are more than conquerors, not in our own strength but His, and not as we see fit but as He directs.
Romans 8:37 (KJV)
37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
This means that any situation He brings us too we are more than able with our authority and His Power to restore it and much more. We are not too just to bring a person, persons, or place back to its best former self in the past but to a place far exceeding that, thus the term “more than conquerors”. We are to be thankful ‘for’ and ‘in’ all situations.
Ephesians 5:20 (KJV)
20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
1 Thessalonians 5:18 (KJV)
18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
This is not always easy my friends. In my experience these are times that take us to our limits and then by faith stretch us to new limits. Times of growth. Remember, we are always the victor if we faint not. Next, be aware that victory and triumph comes in the midst of our thanksgiving.
1 Corinthians 15:57-58 (KJV)
57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
2 Corinthians 2:14 (KJV)
14 Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.
Now let’s turn to our primary Bible text and read it aloud, yes, out loud. Remember, faith comes by hearing, hearing the Word of God, not by thinking about the Word of God by itself or looking at the Word of God by itself but hearing the Word of God.
John 20:17-19 (KJV)
17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.
18 Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that he had spoken these things unto her.
19 Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.
As you will recall Jesus is fresh from His Resurrection and is on His way to the Throne of God, the Mercy Seat of Heaven, to apply His innocent Blood much like the High Priests of old in the earthly tabernacle. In the process He encounters Mary Magdalene and He shares with her He is on His way to the Father. Thus, we have another piece of the record of this wonderful redemptive process. Mary Madelene wants to cling to His feet but Jesus tells her to let go “for I am not yet ascended to my Father”. What is the purpose of His ascension at this time? To apply His precious Blood to the Mercy Seat of Heaven. The price was paid for the redemption of her flesh, all flesh, but the process would not be complete until His blood is on the Mercy Seat. Sinful flesh cannot have a place with God but redeemed, Blood bought, flesh can and does by the Grace of God. More on this tomorrow. Our body and spirit (not our soul) were purchased by Jesus at Calvary and are His, we are not our own.
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (KJV)
19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.
Lord willing, I will pick up tomorrow with our study of this Book of John and Hebrews.
2 Chronicles 20:20b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Until our next publication, as your Bible Teacher and a Prophetic Voice in your life I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name!
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
