THE DAY FOLLOWING
Tuesday – January 1, 2019, Tevet 24, 5779
Greetings and welcome back to this Bible teaching from the Book of John. I am deeply grateful for the partners and the friends of this ministry. Remember, I, this ministry is here for you, so when the enemy comes and you need someone to stand in the gap with or for you, just contact me and it is done. In the Kingdom of God every day is a brand-new day with unlimited potential. Let us agree together that we will no longer think in terms of what we can accomplish but what He can accomplish through us. Whatever mistakes (sins) are in the past if repented of are cleansed from us by the Blood of Jesus, He does not remember them and neither should we focus on them either. In Christ Jesus the future is ours to create for the glory of God with the leadership of Holy Spirit. It is all done by faith, in love, and with the leadership of Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit gives us a hope (target) and it is attained by unwavering faith. Unwavering faith is when we believe or see only one possible outcome. Inquire of the Lord today, even this moment as to what He wants for you today and going forward. God is the agenda planner not we ourselves. If we will take care of the Kingdom according to His leadership, He will see to it that abundance flows in our natural lives.
Matthew 6:33 (KJV)
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Now let’s turn our attention to the Book of John and our primary text and remember to read it aloud putting it in our eyes, our mouth, and our ears building faith.
John 6:22-24 (KJV)
22 The day following, when the people which stood on the other side of the sea saw that there was none other boat there, save that one whereinto his disciples were entered, and that Jesus went not with his disciples into the boat, but that his disciples were gone away alone;
23 (Howbeit there came other boats from Tiberias nigh unto the place where they did eat bread, after that the Lord had given thanks:)
24 When the people therefore saw that Jesus was not there, neither his disciples, they also took shipping, and came to Capernaum, seeking for Jesus.
You may recall that last week when I left off this teaching Jesus had sent the disciples to the cross the Sea of Galilee to Capernaum while He lingered to send the multitude away and talk with the Father. A storm arises and Jesus comes to the disciples walking upon the water. When Jesus entered the boat, we saw the miracle of instantaneous translocation from the midst of the Sea of Galilee to the land. We see this again in Scripture in the account of Philip and the Eunuch in the Book of Acts.
Acts 8:39-40 (KJV)
39 And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.
40 But Philip was found at Azotus: and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Caesarea.
When was the last time this happened to you or me? For me, never. Why not? Did this sort of thing cease with the last Apostle? Of course, it has not ceased, we don’t experience it or hear about due to a lack of faith, and a lack of teaching! We get and experience what we think and what we say. These and similar things do happen today but they are rare when they should be common. When the Lord has need of us, our particular skill set, our particular giftings, and our propensity toward obedience He should be able to put us in that situation and solve it Heavens way for the glory of God. This is a new day dear saints of God, the first day of a new year, let us determine in our hearts that our days of limiting an unlimited God are over with right now in the name of Jesus. This is the way we are going to travel in the future, in Heaven and in the earth and elsewhere, why not now? Faith dear brother and sister is the lacking and irreplaceable ingredient! The people on the other shore were baffled for they saw the disciples leave and Jesus stay however in the morning neither Jesus or the disciples were present. So, they also went to the other side to see when and how Jesus had gone to the other side. A little baffling is good for it brings people to hear, when they hear faith can be built and great things happen transforming lives, transforming whole areas of a nation, and even a whole nation. Lord willing, tomorrow I will pick up with our text and move forward.

24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
