WHEN THE COMFORTER IS COME
Monday – May 11, 2020, Iyar 17, 5780
Greetings dear saints of God and others and welcome back to this powerful Anointed light from the Book of John, really from the mouth of the Father. You may be wondering about the picture today. It is of my mother and father in 1971 at their 25th Wedding Anniversary. They were both born on the 11th of May two years apart. As I was preparing to sit down and write today, I was again, as I do often, thinking about the often-uttered phrase “God is in control”. This phrase is commonly proclaimed by Pastor and parishioner alike. Is it true? At the present time it is commonly used in connection with this pestilence of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). Did God bring this pestilence upon mankind? Is God working out some mysterious plan in our individual lives, the Church, or the world? The answer is no to each question. There are things that God does control. Do we know from Scripture what those are? Where did the idea arise that God was in control of the details of our lives? Does God choose who perishes day in and day out or does someone else have primary responsibility? Dear ones it has never been the will of God that anyone perish so who chooses who perishes and who doesn’t?
We have seen pastors practice uncalled for and unnecessary civil disobedience and have died of this Coronavirus. What a shame upon the church! The Word of the Lord (Prophecy) spoken through me (March 15 & 22) declared, exposed that there was a false faith in the Church which would bring humiliation. When we proclaim that God is in control for example of this Coronavirus, the persons with authority (the children of God) are abdicating (relinquishing) their authority passing full control to the devil. When we do that, we are vulnerable to the pestilence and are as the world at the mercy of the devil (and he has no mercy). The only thing that keeps the Church from being decimated is the mercy of God. His mercy is extended due to an astounding level of ignorance (walking in darkness).
A judgment has been obtained by the devil against the Church and the world. We have not judged ourselves and therefore are judged. The way out of stealing, killing, and destroying is repentance. The way out of this pestilence is for a repentance by Church leadership and congregants. Some may be saying “I am as pure as the driven snow and don’t have anything to repent of”! Really! Wow! We can start by repenting of saying God is in control and laying back waiting for Him to do something. This is a throwing of our responsibility onto Him and He will never do our part. We must repent and accept the authority and responsibility He put in our hand and exercise it. Resist the devil (stealing, killing, and destroying) and He will flee from you. He is not fleeing from God or at the rebuke of God but at your, my, resistance to him, our voice, the exercise of our authority (given by God). As many of you know I speak of this often. This alone (along with many other traditions of men and doctrines of devils) leaves the Church without power and a laughing stock as a whole. This is not a time for molly coddling but very explicit straight talk. My God, my God, be merciful and bring us, each one, into the fullness of Truth. Know this dear ones, there is a Church, a remnant arising, that will do all the Truth, and usher in the coming of the Lord. What will we, each one of us decide? Will we choose to stay in darkness or move into the light? Now, let’s take a look at our primary Bible text from the Book of John and read it aloud, yes, aloud.
John 15:26-27 (KJV)
26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:
27 And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning.
Jesus is literally within moments of fulfilling all that was written of Him over the last 4000 years and He is downloading to them and to us. He tells them again about the Comforter who is the Holy Spirit. He has mentioned Him before and this is a second direct reference as the Comforter or One like Jesus. This word “Comforter” is from the Greek word paraklētos according to Strong’s Talking Greek & Hebrew Dictionary. A “paraklētos” is an intercessor, consoler, advocate, and comforter according to Strong’s Talking Greek & Hebrew Dictionary. The Holy Spirit, the Comforter is coming from Heaven, the abode of the Father, and will testify of Jesus, the Christ. That is to say the Holy Spirit will not seek to draw attention to Himself but to Jesus, the Word.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
