SPIRIT OF TRUTH
Greetings to the dear and precious saints who are friends and partners of this ministry and welcome back to this empowering study of the Book of John. God is so good dear ones. Partnership greatly increases the power of this ministry and opens your life up to great grace and glory through the law of sowing and reaping. The picture today is of Donna and myself on a recent trip to Boothbay, Maine.
Is there a difference between a person standing by the Anointing of God in the office of Prophet today and say the Prophet Jeremiah of long ago? I am hoping your answer was “no” but if it was “yes” I would be very interested in the Scriptures that supports that answer. All of the offices, gifts given until men, are present in the earth today and available to every Church established by God. Unfortunately, these gifts are not being used in the Church. The current situation illustrates this in spades. Where is the Apostle? The Apostle brings correction and order to a Church. The Prophet puts a finger on the problem and the alternate outcomes with and without repentance. Where is the Prophet?
Jeremiah 1:8-12 (KJV)
8 Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the LORD.
9 Then the LORD put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth.
10 See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.
11 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Jeremiah, what seest thou? And I said, I see a rod of an almond tree.
12 Then said the LORD unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.
The Lord uses the mouth of the Prophet to build up and plant His kingdom and to root out, pull down, throw down, and destroy the works of the enemy. Do we believe these things or not? The Church has been in deep deception for a long time (centuries) and its time is up in these last moments before the Lord returns. There is a rising remnant that will usher in a great awakening in the world with a massive harvest and then the end will come. All the while the traditional, organized Church, will watch from the sidelines. What will each of us choose? Will we choose to dive further into the darkness and deceptions of the traditional Church or be a part of the rising remnant?
Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text from the Book of John and read it out loud. Faith comes by hearing (Romans 10:17) and it is impossible to please God without faith (Hebrews 11:6).
John 16:8-13 (KJV)
8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
9 Of sin, because they believe not on me;
10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;
11 Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.
12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.
13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
The Comforter, the Spirit of Truth, came in fulness on the Day/Feast of Pentecost some 2000 years ago. He is not only with us but in us at salvation and when we are filled with Him we are endued with Power without limit for all the will of God. Notice from verse thirteen above that the Spirit of Truth, the Holy Spirit, will guide us into all the Truth and He will show us things to come. See, there is a little bit of Prophet in all of us. After all it is the same Spirit in all of us. Notice also that He operates like Jesus, speaking the Words He hears from the Father and they always point to Jesus, to the Word. Notice that He will guide us “into all the truth”. How much Truth is He holding back from us? Zero! When you start to hear from someone that we just can’t understand some particular thing but we will in the sweet bye and bye, turn it off. It is a satanic lie. Is this Jesus talking, the head of the Church talking trash or the Truth? The Truth of course! I have taught on this many times but as a quick reminder recall that the Truth is the Word of God, Jesus (who is the Word), the Holy Spirit (Spirit of Truth), and love (God is love). The Truth boils down to the Word of God.
2 Chronicles 20:20b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
