Greeting dear and precious friends and welcome back to this hard-hitting Bible Study of the Book of John. Please take a few moments and share these teachings starting right now to expand your witness and the reach of this Ministry. Thank you for sharing. The featured picture today is provided by a good friend of this Ministry, Joe Getchell Jr. I hope you have enjoyed the pictures Joe has provided this week. These teachings are hard hitting because they bring light into darkness and show the way in which each of us, including me, are to walk. Each of us are constantly fine tuning our walk with the Lord and advancing in knowledge and the performance of that knowledge. The gaining of knowledge is critical to our walk with God fulfilling our call and gifting in the Kingdom of God. Do we believe the following Scripture?
2 Peter 1:1-4 (KJV)
1 Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:
2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,
3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
Whose responsibility is it to acquire this knowledge? Did you notice how central knowledge is to the multiplying of Grace and peace? Do we have an interest in the multiplication of Grace and peace? Did you notice how central knowledge is to the provision of ALL things for our natural and spiritual lives? We have a divine nature, we are in the image and likeness of God, our spiritual DNA is His. Do we want to function in that divine nature or just look on from afar and relegate it to the sweet bye and bye? The knowledge is readily available, He is not hiding things from us, when will we be diligent to study rightly dividing the Word of God, and showing ourselves approved? Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible Study text and read it aloud, yes, out loud.
John 16:23-28 (KJV)
23 And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.
24 Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.
25 These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the Father.
26 At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you:
27 For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.
28 I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.
Let’s take a little time and look at the word ‘shew’ in verse twenty-five. According to Strong’s Talking Greek & Hebrew Dictionary this word (shew) means to announce (in detail), declare, rehearse, report, show, speak, and tell. When we think, talk, or hear we see images in our minds, imagination. These images communicate a particular message, either general or very specific. For example, if we say car, we have a general image of a car but if we go into detail then the image becomes more specific. Let’s look at this 25th verse in a different Bible translation.
John 16:25 (NLT)
25 “I have spoken of these matters in figures of speech, but soon I will stop speaking figuratively and will tell you plainly all about the Father.
You can see here that the Greek word translated to English as ‘shew’ in the King James Version of the Bible is translated as ‘tell’ in the New Living Translation. This word ‘shew’ also carries the idea of being brought by a messenger. Now, let’s remember that Jesus has been talking about the coming of the Comforter, the Spirit of Truth. So, who is our number one teacher? Who is going to make all things plain to them and to us? The Holy Spirit is our ultimate teacher, taking of the Father and of Jesus, and showing it unto us. Giving us clear images of the Truth.
John 14:26 (KJV)
26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

2 Chronicles 20:20b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
