I AM IN THE WORLD NO MORE

Greetings to all of our dear friends and partners who follow and support this blog. We are thankful for each and everyone of you. Today I will be picking up with our study of the Book of John. Please, take a moment right now to share this teaching as widely as possible to expand the influence of this Ministry but more importantly expand the reach of the Truth. The featured picture today is from one of the game cameras in our back yard. We enjoy the deer and all the other creatures and birds that scurry back and forth.
The November 3rd elections will soon be upon us here in the United States. God holds each of us responsible to vote and how we vote. This is not just a citizenship responsibility, obligation, but a stewardship responsibility before God. The United States is a part of our garden.
Genesis 2:15 (AMP)
15 And the Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to tend and guard and keep it.
Many Christians are praying for our nation with many concerns including COVID-19, the violence, abortion, sexual perversions, and many other wicked manifestations of evil. We have been hearing 2 Chronicles 7:14 and a plea for revival or an awakening for decades. I think we can all agree that we want our land healed and we want an awakening. Is our land healed? Is there an awakening? Why not?
2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV)
14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
So, is God looking to the heathen or the Church to repent? Who has the authority and Power (Blessing) in the earth that God can flow through and bring healing? Let us all humble ourselves, turn from our wicked ways, be forgiven, and get his show on the road. Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text and read it aloud, yes, out loud.
John 17:11-16 (KJV)
11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.
12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.
13 And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.
14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
In our text we are just a few hours before Jesus surrenders to the Cross. Perhaps in some ways the surrender to the Cross was the easy part for Him. Jesus had never known sin and He was made sin. The wages of sin are death and this brought spiritual death to the Son of God and separated Him from the Father. He had never been separated from the Father. Then He surrenders His spirit to the Father’s care dying physically. He is full of faith in the face of being fully cognizant of what the prophets have spoken of Him. By the way those Words which came to the Prophets, came from the Father to the Word (who is Jesus) to the Prophets. Jesus descended into Hell and took our punishment. By the testimony of His own innocent Blood and the Words of His testimony Justice (the Father) brought Him up out of the grave by the Resurrection Power of the Holy Spirit and restored Him to His (Father’s) right Hand once again as God. On His way out of Hell going to the Right Hand of the Father Jesus preached the gospel to those captive in the Bosom of Abraham (Old Testament saints) and took them on to Heaven with Him in resurrection bodies. Back to our text.
In verse eleven, Jesus is aligning with Scripture, with the Father, calling things not manifest in the physical as yet as if they had. Think on this, when Jesus spoke there was a manifestation in the spirit realm (just as when we speak). Jesus’ faith and the actions required of Jesus made the words manifest in the physical realm. Our words, His Words that day, are spirit. His Words if received and believed were always life. We know that death and life are in the power of the tongue, our tongue, not anyone else’s, not Gods’, not the devils’, and no other peoples’. As we move through verse eleven, we find Jesus saying to the Father that He was kept by the Father’s name and He guarded and kept those disciples given Him by the Father’s name. Then we see the phrase; “that they may be one, as we are.” Is Jesus asking the Father to make them one with each other or one with Himself? As we think about the whole counsel of Scripture, He is probably talking about both. We are told that we will come into the “unity of the faith” (Ephesians 4:13). We are also to be one with Jesus and the Father (John 17:21). Lord willing, I will pick up right here tomorrow.
2 Chronicles 20:20b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
