ABIDING

Greeting to our precious friends and partners of this Ministry and The Three Minute Word blog. God is so good to bring such wonderful people into our lives. Welcome back to this in-depth Bible Study of the Book of John which can bring all of our lives into a far better place then we currently are no matter our financial or health condition. There is no upside limit in the Kingdom of God, neither now in this time nor in the eternity to follow. In other words, if we have only one dollar and we choose to focus on God, on the Kingdom of God, there is no limit to what God will do for each of us personally. That one dollar can become several billion, even trillions. Only believe. Just think what the Lord could call on us individually to do with several billion dollars (even trillions) in our control subject to the voice of God. Is the one dollar in our pocket yielded to Him or do we hold back out of fear? Perhaps some of us can now see why our finances never progressed or have even regressed. The horrible financial and health teachings in the Church cause the Church to be impotent (weak, powerless). The Lord has an open door for this ministry now which will not shut and He is calling people to partner with us, are you one of them? Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text for today and read it aloud.
John 15:7-10 (KJV)
7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
9 As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.
10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.
You will recall that we are working our way through the Bible Book of John literally examining every Word from the mouth of God, from the mouth of the Master. We are to live by every Word from the mouth of God. Jesus was not God in the earth (during His earthly ministry) however He only said what the Father said and therefore every Word from His mouth was from God the Father. As an aside, so is every Word from our mouth to be from the Father, and when the Prophet rises to speak in your Church it is no different than Jesus appearing and speaking or the Father speaking. Why is there so little respect today for the Word of God, and the Words of the men and women of God whom God speaks through to us? And, yes, this includes our Pastors!
Jesus is telling us as we pick up in verse seven that if we continue, remain, or tarry (abide) in Him AND His Words abide (continue, remain, tarry) in us the ears of God are wide open to us. When He, God, hears us it is done, perhaps not instantly but none the less we must believe it is already done. Consider it done right and with excellence.
Many skip right to the part about asking what you will and it will be done for you. As wonderful as that is, we cannot just skip over the qualifier for the second half of the verse. Abiding in Him and His Words abiding in us is way more than showing up on Sunday, doing a little clapping, a little jumping, and a little shouting. It is far more than knowing the Christian lingo and how to act in Church. It is far more than knowing a few verses and reciting them at seemingly the right moment. It has to do with living the Word, being an expression of Jesus Himself in the earth.
Can we say like Jesus said, if you have seen me you have seen the Father? If we can’t say that, why can’t we? Can we say we are doing the things Jesus did and the greater things? Why can’t we? We are too busy being led of the flesh and rarely looking to be led of the Spirit of God, generally in a time of trouble. I hate to be the one to break it to you and to me, that is not working and will never work. We have been lazy, slack, way too long dear ones! Being led of the Spirit does not just drop on us. We have to practice being led of the Spirit of God and no other spirits (people), evil spirits, or even our own mind will and emotions. We are to be led of the Spirit of God and guided by the Truth. Recall, Truth is love, it is Jesus, it is the Holy Spirit, and it is the Word. Anything and everything that we hear, see, think, say, and do must go through a rigorous examination by the Word of God and the witness of the Spirit. One might be thinking, “brother this is not possible!”. Really? This will surprise Jesus, the Word. He said we could do everything He did and even greater things (John 14:12). Who should I believe?
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
