ABUNDANT AND RUNNING OVER
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ONE AND ALL
Tuesday – December 25, 2018, Tevet 17, 5779

Today is the day chosen to celebrate the birth of our risen Savior. Jesus is not a baby any longer, and He is not a sacrificial lamb any longer as well. Christ Jesus, the Anointed One, the Messiah is a risen and even now is all man and all God at the right hand of the Father. His sacrifice, victory in Hell, resurrection, and restoration as God has brought all who will receive full redemption from the curse of sin. He is our High Priest, our King, He is the Lion of the tribe of Judah who intercedes continually on our behalf and ensures our victory in Him. The victory is ours in Him when we do it His way, the Father’s way! We must do it by faith, in love, led of Holy Spirit with our eye on the Hope, the goal. In this posture there must be only one possible outcome in our mind and that is total and resounding victory in every battle, every mission assigned us of God. We are not celebrating Santa Clause, elves, or reindeer but the Savior who came and is risen giving us the fullness of victory forever. Now, back to our Bible Study taken from the Book of John.
John 6:8-13 (KJV)
8 One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, saith unto him,
9 There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many?
10 And Jesus said, Make the men sit down. Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand.
11 And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would.
12 When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost.
13 Therefore they gathered them together, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves, which remained over and above unto them that had eaten.
This is a very large crowd with only five barley loaves and two fishes to feed them, however, in the hands of Jesus it was more than enough. We are to do the same as led of Holy Spirit (Father), by faith, in love, with the only possible outcome (hope, goal) being the feeding of all abundantly. In verse eleven above we see that Jesus thanked the Father for this provision. However, let’s add another critical element from the Book of Matthew.
Matthew 14:19 (KJV)
19 And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.
So, here we find that Jesus looked up to Heaven, not down at the ground (or table), no evidence He shut His eyes, and He blessed or empowered the food and we know from the Book of John He also gave thanks to the Father (much as at the tomb of Lazarus). The thanks has a two-fold purpose, first to thank the Father for the empowerment to bless, and also to thank the Father for the provision of the food itself. This is exactly how we are to treat the food before us. We are to thank God for the food and the empowerment to bless and then we are to pronounce the blessing upon the food. We do not ask God to bless the food, we pronounce the blessing and Holy Spirit does the rest in response to our voice and faith. Remember, authority in the earth resides with man, with the coming of Messiah the Blessing (Power of God) is again available to mankind. Thanksgiving for the things in the earth given us belongs to God who has given us dominion (authority) but the Blessing is administered or directed led of Holy Spirit (the Blessing), in faith, by love, not doubting that the food before us is blessed and will cause us no harm.
Let me ask a very basic question. Where did the fish and bread come from adequate to feed five thousand plus? Where did Eve come from (Genesis 2)? Where did the oil come from in the account of the widow whose sons are about to be sold into slavery to satisfy debt (2 Kings 4)? All of these things are seeds sown which reap a harvest in the Hand (Holy Spirit) of God. Eve came from Adam, the first stem cell usage with time set aside. The oil came out of the spirit realm into the physical when the seed of the first cruse of oil was sown, in faith, in love (right motivation), with the only possible outcome in the widows’ mind of being debt free. Likewise, the extra fish and barley loaves was a supernatural response to the initial seed sown by that boy. He placed the seed in the hand of Jesus and it was supernaturally multiplied in response to thanksgiving and the blessing. Can you imagine the look on this boys parents faces when he arrives back home with twelve baskets of overflow. This is to be going on in our life day in and day out! Today we celebrate the baby boy Jesus but we must turn our focus to the risen Savior who was sown and the harvest is very great with you and I as part of that harvest.
John 12:24 (KJV)
24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.
Romans 8:29 (KJV)
29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
Likewise, we sow our lives (dead to self, alive to Him) to reap a mighty harvest in the earth. Rejoice my dear brothers and sisters in Christ, we are redeemed!
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it by faith in Jesus name!
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
