We are made in the image and likeness of God and are of like kind with God. God is love and we are to be love being a perfect reflection of Him. A significant impetus for this teaching is that I hear a lot of discussion about love from the pulpit and the pew yet almost no one defines this love. This ignorance leads to much error. For example, the following verse is commonly misapplied for two major reasons, one is the quoting of half a verse, and the other is, not knowing the definition of love.
