First let me say, there are many persons, even whole Denominations who do not believe in Prophets or prophesy saying it passed away with the death of the “last Apostle”. Has the “last Apostle” passed away? Where is the Scripture for that occurrence? They argue that prophesy is unnecessary since we have the Bible, we all have the Holy Spirit, and the references to prophecy in the New Testament are really talking about preaching what is in the sixty-six books of the Bible. Where are the Scriptural witnesses for these beliefs, this teaching? Did God change His mind about Prophets somewhere around 100 AD and not tell anyone?
