AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH

THE GREATER THINGS – PART NINETEEN
Greetings dear and precious friends and partners to this Ministry and followers of The Three Minute Word blog. Now, let’s turn our attention to our Sunday topic of “The Greater Things”. Wow, we are so suddenly immersed into a new year. What is possible this year?
Mark 10:27 (KJV)
27 And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.
With God all things are possible! Are you, am I, with God? What about this? This is far more than being saved.
Matthew 17:20 (KJV)
20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
So, what is possible for the body of Christ and each of us individually by faith, in love, led of the Holy Spirit? There are no limits! Do we believe that? This is Bible, isn’t it? As a reminder I am talking about not doing just the works Jesus did at the Father’s direction but the greater works.
John 14:12 (KJV)
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
Let’s review for a moment the works of Jesus and how they occurred.
Luke 7:21-22 (KJV)
21 And in that same hour he cured many of their infirmities and plagues, and of evil spirits; and unto many that were blind he gave sight.
22 Then Jesus answering said unto them, Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached.
Jesus did these things and many other things; these verses are just a taste for the Church is not doing even these things as a whole. But, behold, there is a Rising Remnant! However, the way Jesus did these works is exactly how we will need to do them.
John 8:28 (KJV)
28 Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things. (Bold added)
John 5:19 (KJV)
19 Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise. (Bold added)
John 14:10 (KJV)
10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. (Bold added)
Jesus only spoke what the Father spoke, only did what He saw the Father doing, and the Father did the works. In this way we see no example of Jesus having a prayer failure whereas prayer failures abound in the Church today. Church traditions, doctrines of demons, and emotions, not the leadership of the Holy Spirit (the Father) are the root causes. Failure to follow Bible models is a fundamental flaw in the Church today. There are no shortcuts to getting the results Jesus got in His Ministry. Many seem to think they can live like the world and get Kingdom of God results. Not going to happen folks. Let’s look at another witness as I close for today.
Mark 16:19-20 (KJV)
19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
Notice the word ‘them’ in verse twenty is italicized meaning it was added by the translators for ease of reading or clarity. We see that the Lord does not confirm people but His Word. Let’s speak the Word only and do the works of Jesus and the greater works.

2 Chronicles 20:20b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
