AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH

THE GREATER THINGS – PART FORTY-SIX
Greetings dear and precious saints of God and welcome back to this Sunday series titled The Greater Things. This will be the final edition of this particular series. Starting next Sunday I will be starting a new series titled: “A Well of Truth”. Please take a moment and share this Bible teaching as widely as possible to expand our reach with the Truth. For some forty-six weeks, counting today, I have been talking about the works that Jesus did in His earthly Ministry and the Greater works we, yes you and me, are commanded to be doing today.
John 14:12 (KJV)
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
Over the weeks I have supported this verse with multiple other Scriptural witnesses. Who is doing these works Jesus is referring to? As I look about at Ministries on TV or even my own Church, I see wonderful things (works) being performed but nothing close to the level to which Jesus is referring. Why not?
Hebrews 4:2 (KJV)
2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.
Are we hearing all this good news (gospel) but not appropriating it into our lives and perhaps even more importantly into the lives of others? Are we ever learning but not being changed and walking in the fulness of Truth?
2 Timothy 3:7 (KJV)
7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
Dear ones we are to be doing everything Jesus did in His earthly Ministry. Everything! Lord forgive us and, in your mercy, lead us forward.
Matthew 10:7-8 (KJV)
7 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.
8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.
Are we preaching the Kingdom, and the benefits of the Kingdom? The “kingdom of heaven” and the Kingdom of God are one and the same. What about calming the storms and feeding the five thousand? These things are not for a select few, this command of the Lord Jesus Christ is for each and every believer! Go back and read it. The “greater works” includes bringing the garden of Eden back into the earth, our days are to be as days of Heaven on the earth. Are they? This is the will of God, the reality we are to walk in.
Deuteronomy 11:21 (KJV)
21 That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth.
Matthew 6:10 (KJV)
10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Do you suppose that death, disease, any part of the curse is the will of God in Heaven or exists in Heaven? Of course not! Neither should it exist in our lives! Who is responsible for that? We are! When will we get fed up with the evil mess all around us and exercise our authority and Power? How long will we believe the lies of Satan deceiving the world and Church alike. Unfortunately, many of these deceptions (lies) are espoused from pulpits across the land? We cannot keep doing what we have been doing and get different results. If we continue on the path, we now walk, we will continue to be overwhelmed with the curse and remain powerless.
Let’s arise dear saints of God in faith, powered by love, and led of the Spirit. Let’s take back the wealth stolen from us, take back the health for which Christ died, take back the gates, the culture of the seven spheres of influence, and cause righteousness to reign.

20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
