AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH

THE GREATER THINGS – PART THIRTEEN
Greetings dear and precious friends and partners of Eastern Gate Ministries International, Inc. Please take a moment to share this teaching as widely as possible. If you do not have the meeting id and password for Zoom please contact us to obtain them. The COVID-19 Pandemic remains with us and is and will continue to spike into the winter. I encourage all Christians to follow the law, wear your masks don’t be a “mask slacker” (yes, yes, yes, they work!), keep gatherings according to current guidelines, and practice social distancing. We have an obligation as citizens to follow the laws of the land and God. Disobeying the law of the land is disobedience to God which has far more important and far reaching consequences.
Now, let’s turn our attention to our Bible Study for today, the mission of the Church since the ascension of Jesus to the right hand of the Father. We are further away from accomplishing our assignment today then they were in the first century. The gospel has been so polluted, so watered down, and the devil’s deceptions have turned the people of God into victims and not victors. Let’s purpose in our hearts to get back on track and get this done. There is no higher authority given in the earth than that given the Church, what are we doing with it? Our authority is backed by all of Heaven, by the Holy Spirit (Blessing) what are we doing with it? Have we really meditated the following verse and taken it seriously as talking to us?
John 14:12 (KJV)
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
Jesus is talking to you and me individually, anyone who believes on Him, the essential criteria for salvation. Then He issues two commands to every believer and they are to do what He did in the earth and to launch into even greater things. Jesus points out that He is going to the Father and therefore will not be available in the earth to do these things. We are however in the earth with all authority and Power to accomplish all the will of God. Is this being preached at our Churches? Do we believe any of this? Are we seeing ourselves as being in the Kingdom of God, is this being preached, are we living Kingdom realities as sons and daughters or beggars? Where are the beggar Scriptures, where are the God is doing everything and we have no responsibilities Scriptures? Jesus preached the Kingdom of God and repentance what are we preaching?
Mark 1:15 (KJV)
15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
The gospel is the really good news made possible by the Cross, Jesus’ payment in our stead in Hell, the Resurrection, and the sending of the Holy Spirit. A very large part of that good news, the gospel, was what Jesus preached in His first sermon, demonstrated over and over again in His earthly Ministry, preached various aspects over and over, then gave us the command to carry on with that and the even greater things. Many of those greater things are contained in the following passage. Do we believe we are to be doing any of this just as He did? Or, are we waiting for Him to do the stuff He assigned to us?
Isaiah 61:1-4 (KJV)
1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;
3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.
4 And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here next Sunday. As a historical reminder, it was 57 years ago today that President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas Texas. Like myself many of you will recall that day vividly.
2 Chronicles 20:20b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
