THE PLACE OF SAFETY – PART TWENTY-FOUR

Greetings dear and precious saints of God, friends and partners of this Ministry. I invite all reading this blog to share it as widely as possible. I want to thank each one who honored their duty before God and this nation, a stewardship responsibility, and voted. Thank you for voting the Bible. Also, be reminded of the Wednesday evening Bible Study on Zoom at 6 pm eastern time. The Lord is taking us into wonderful places and quickening our hearts to be more and more like Him. Come filled with expectancy. Not expecting of me but of Him. It is your faith and my faith that makes us whole. There can be no awakening, no great harvest, without significant heart change among the people of God. God is going to have an end-time people, are you going to have a part? If you don’t already have the meeting id and password contact us and we will happily provide it so you may enter the Bible Study.
Many times, in these teachings the Lord through me brings our focus to who is controlling our decisions and thus the outcome. There is an awful belief which is prevalent in the traditional organized Christian Church which is that God is in control of everything. So long as that idea persists there will only be increasing darkness in individual lives and the corporate body. This idea is not of God and is a bald-faced lie of the devil. The most destructive part of this lie is that it throws all responsibility for what goes on in the world, our country, our locality, and our lives totally onto God. Really? This lie makes everything one way or another the will of God. Really? Is all of the good, the bad, and the ugly in the earth really the will of God? Consider just how much Scripture one would have to deny to believe the ‘God in control of everything lie’. Let’s meditate on this and when we read Scripture determine what is up to Him and what is up to us. Now, let’s move into our Bible Study for this Saturday reading our primary text aloud, yes, out loud.
Psalm 23:1-6 (KJV)
1 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
The LORD is our primary and above all Shepherd. It is to Him that we look in all that we hear. Yes, I do mean ALL that we hear. We must be quick to discern the Truth from the lie. Unfortunately, we must be very vigilant even with our Christian friends and what we are listening to on TV and from the pulpit of our local Church. Sometimes when we are talking with people, we are too quick to shake our heads in agreement and smile even when we know it is not right. Let’s stop doing that from this moment forward. Check everything against the Bible, the Word of God. The Word of God (written) and the living Word of God (John 1:1), and Jesus the Master Shepherd are inseparable. Let us not at any time come into agreement whether it be in word, shaking the head, or silence with the lies of the devil/demons. Concerning the pulpit and other venues of Ministry let’s be good Berean’s.
Acts 17:11 (KJV)
11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.
Yes, I know our topic is “The Place of Safety”. Nothing will keep us safer than walking in the pure Word of God. We have got to quit mixing the knowledge of evil with the knowledge of good. Yes, people will call us crazy, radical and ridiculous but we will be the one walking in protection, prosperity, health, and wholeness of every kind. If any of us are happy with an ordinary life, just maintaining the status quo all we need to do is keep thinking, talking, and doing as usual. Looking back at the 23rd Psalm, we spent some time on the first half of verse three last week. The second half of that verse talks of the LORD, the Chief Shepherd leading us (the Word of God) in the paths of righteousness. Let’s look at this in the NLT.
Psalm 23:3 (NLT)
3 He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths,
bringing honor to his name.
Are we interested in changing our minds and walking the path of righteousness so that honor comes to His name? How long will we dishonor Him with our thoughts, our words, and our actions? Lord willing, I will pick up right here next Saturday.
2 Chronicles 20:20b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
