I FIND NO FAULT IN HIM

Greetings precious children of the Father and welcome back to this powerful and life altering Study of the Book of John. The beautiful featured picture today was provided by our good friend Joe Getchell Jr. COVID-19 remains a reality in our lives. Please do not fatigue in well doing. Let’s focus on the blessing and not the curse, focus on Jesus and His Word and not the lies of the devil. Obey the mandates (1 Peter 2:13-15, Titus 3:1-2) and please the Heavenly Father. Let’s try trading in our rebellious attitudes and actions for a submissive one and allow the Lord to show us, all of us, how to turn what the devil intended for evil to good. The author of rebellion is the devil. With the Lord’s help, proper Godly attitude, and focus we can spiritually explode expanding the Kingdom of God for the glory of God. This is a wonderful time to prune away all the unproductive and counterproductive areas of our lives. This will not happen for those in disobedience to the governing authorities for this is sin. Let’s be a blessing to those in authority over us and not a curse. Now, let’s turn our attention to the primary text of our Bible Study and read it aloud, yes, out loud.
John 19:1-5 (KJV)
1 Then Pilate therefore took Jesus, and scourged him.
2 And the soldiers platted a crown of thorns, and put it on his head, and they put on him a purple robe,
3 And said, Hail, King of the Jews! and they smote him with their hands.
4 Pilate therefore went forth again, and saith unto them, Behold, I bring him forth to you, that ye may know that I find no fault in him.
5 Then came Jesus forth, wearing the crown of thorns, and the purple robe. And Pilate saith unto them, Behold the man!
Oh, how God loves us, loves you and me, all of us, saved and unsaved.
John 3:15-17 (KJV)
15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
This love (agape) is the God kind of love which we are fully capable of living, expressing.
Matthew 22:36-40 (KJV)
36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
This kind of love (fruit of our spirit and His) is not emotional, it functions as an act of our will in line with His will. Remember, this love (agape) is first obedience to the Word of God, second a selfless lifestyle, attitude, and third adherence to Blood Covenant. We love people (act in their best interest) not because we have a fuzzy wuzzy feeling towards them but based on our knowledge of the will of God and our will to carry out the will of God. This coming to earth as a man, living as a man, and dying on the Cross, and going to Hell was not a fuzzy wuzzy journey for Jesus for sure, He did it as an act of His will knowing it was the will of the Father.
As our text continues (verse 4) we continue to see that although Pilate calls Jesus innocent he treats Jesus with great contempt and cruelty. These things are hard for us to imagine but they go on today in other areas of the world and in very recent history with the Holocaust which killed some six million Jews. Perhaps we all would like to think that we are not capable of such heinous atrocities but we are when we submit to the devil turning away from the ways of God. These people were not somehow different from us but became very different manifesting the nature of the devil, pure evil. Again, notice the last verse of our primary text.
John 19:5 (CJB)
5 So Yeshua came out, wearing the thorn-branch crown and the purple robe. Pilate said to them, “Look at the man!”
What cruelty, what cynicism, our Savior endured for our sake.
Hebrews 12:2 (KJV)
2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here tomorrow.
2 Chronicles 20:20b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
