JESUS AND LOVE
Thursday – September 27, 2018, Tishrei 18, 5779

Greetings and welcome back to this wonderful Bible Study producing faith according to our diligence. The featured picture today is of a beautiful Congregational Church located in York Maine. Now, let’s take a look at our primary Bible text and dive right back into our study.
John 1:14-16 (KJV)
14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
15 John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me.
16 And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.
As you will recall we are continuing our study of the truth today and then will move on into the subsequent verses. I have defined the truth as being or having four aspects all of which are in perfect harmony. The truth unveils or shines a light on all things, there is nothing hidden in the truth, there is no hidden agenda. Those four aspects of truth are: The Word, Holy Spirit, Love, and Jesus. Today we will be picking up on the latter two. First, Jesus is the truth!
John 14:6 (KJV)
6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Jesus says very plainly that He is the I Am, the I Am that spoke from the burning bush in the wilderness that was not consumed and the I Am that spoke to the mob on the day He was crucified. He is continually saying I Am, the way (door to the Kingdom of God), the truth, the life (spiritual). The vital link to the Father is Jesus. It is impossible to have one without all the others. If you don’t know Jesus, have Jesus, you have nuttin as they say. The whole purpose of Jesus coming was to remove sin destroying the works of the devil and restoring the Blessing. Once again our Heavenly Father has a family. We have been estranged from our Heavenly Father but now in Christ Jesus we are restored and we have a Daddy and He has a family. Now, let’s look at Love as the truth.
Matthew 22:36-40 (KJV)
36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
In the preceding passage we find Jesus quoting from Deuteronomy chapter six which is a part of what is commonly referred to as the Law of Moses. Of course, they are not laws given by Moses but by God and recorded by Moses as he received them from God. We are clearly told that love, agape, of God and others is central to all of the law. The other Laws of God cannot be kept if this one is not kept first. Upon the law of love hangs all of the laws and the words of the Prophets. As you may recall agape, Godly love, is absolute selflessness, it is obedience to the Word of God, and mindfulness of Blood Covenant. Now, let’s see how these dovetails with our study of the truth.
Psalm 119:142 (KJV)
142 Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is the truth.
Please understand that these four aspects of truth do not change, and one way or another all four of these are God. God is love!
1 John 4:8 (KJV)
8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
God is love, Holy Spirit is God and speaks of Jesus, Jesus is God, and the unchanging Word of God, is God, is Jesus and changes not, praise the Lord. Remember the truth is unchanging and hides or conceals nothing unlike the world. Likewise, you and I are to be veritable representations of truth. Our lives must be open and transparent before God and man. It is never permissible to lie. The main purpose of the truth is so that we, the sons and daughters of the Most High God think, talk, and act like our Father. In this way we will operate in the same reality as our Father and not in a mixture which only brings the curse into our lives. The truth transforms us such that we are a revelation of the Father, a representation of the Father, an expression of the Father in the earth, a demonstration of the Father, and an illustration of our Heavenly Father who is Love.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it by faith in Jesus name!
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
