ALL JUDGMENT GIVEN TO THE SON
Wednesday – November 28, 2018, Kislev 20, 5779

Greeting precious brothers and sister in Christ Jesus. If you are not born again, not in Christ Jesus, do so right now. Simply say; “Lord right now I turn from sin to righteousness, be my Lord and so something pleasing with my life”. Praise the Lord for anyone who turned from darkness to light and whose destiny was changed from Hell to Heaven in the future and all the benefits of the Kingdom of God in this here and now. If you are receiving this on Facebook don’t forget to hit the “like” and “share” buttons. The featured picture was taken a few years ago along Belgrade Stream here in Maine. Now let’s dive into our Bible Study of the Book of John and we will start by reading our primary text aloud.
John 5:19-23 (KJV)
19 Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.
20 For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel.
21 For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will.
22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:
23 That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.
Today I will be focusing on the twenty-second verse and the statement Jesus made that the Father no longer was judging man but that judgment was now in the purview of the Son. It seems very reasonable to me that this transfer of judging would occur since the Word, Jesus, is the One who came paying the price and making the way of salvation. As we enter this discourse on judgment, we must never forget that the critical and fundamental judgment rests with each of us individually. Each of us decide to be a Christian or not, that is the first and most fundamental judgment. When we die based upon the judgment, the decision we made in life we will either appear at the judgment seat of Christ or the White Throne Judgment. Once at these thrones we will be judged as to our works in the earth and our reward or punishment given. Let me clearly point out that the only people at the Judgment Seat of Christ are Christians and the only people at the White Throne are the unsaved. There are only rewards at the Judgment Seat of Christ and only punishments at the White Throne Judgment. First let’s look at the judgment seat of Christ. All of us who are Christians will appear here and Christ Himself will judge the things we did in the earth, in our natural bodies.
2 Corinthians 5:10 (KJV)
10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
1 Corinthians 3:12-15 (KJV)
12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
13 Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.
14 If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
15 If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.
The preceding passage is a part of the foundation upon which I base my frequent warnings to be sure we are doing the will of God, the assignments which are God given and not our own assignments. Now the White Throne Judgment.
Revelation 20:11-15 (KJV)
11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
We can see that the unsaved who are either still alive or dead are resurrected to stand before the White Throne in judgment. I had always assumed that God the Father was the judge on the White Throne but as you can see from the text above that is somewhat nebulous. However, our text from John is not nebulous in that we are told plainly that all judgment is given to the Son, to Jesus, the Word. Lord willing, I will move forward tomorrow.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it by faith in Jesus name!
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
