NOT MY WILL BUT THE FATHERS
Tuesday – January 8, 2019, Sh’vat 2, 5779

Greetings dear partners of this ministry and ministry friends. God has brought many to this ministry that we may all grow up into Him together and do the exploits prepared for us from the foundation of the world. We are not here to just hang on for dear life until we die but we are here to dominate and show forth the goodness of our God. God is so good my brothers and sisters. Again, I encourage each of you reading this on Facebook to hit the “like” and “share” buttons that these powerful teaching help others also. Let us now move on in our study from the sixth chapter of John by first reading our primary Bible text aloud.
John 6:34-40 (KJV)
34 Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread.
35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
36 But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not.
37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.
39 And this is the Father’s will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.
I believe we all can see that there is a lot of meat for us to chew on, digest, and utilize in the preceding Scripture passage. As we pick up in verse thirty-six, do we think Jesus is speaking about the people simply seeing His personage. No, we can conclude that He is talking about them witnessing the wonderful works He is doing like feeding the 5000? Think about the things Jesus did in His ministry including the feeding of the 5000 and the supernatural translocation across the Sea of Galilee. When did any of us do any of these things, yet Jesus Himself commanded that we are to do the things He did and we are to go even further and do the greater things? Do you know anybody doing these things that Jesus commanded, and paid the price for us to do? There is no shortage of people that need to be healed for example. The Church is full of people in need of being healed and being made whole. So, what is the problem? Same as these people, and the same as the Israelites at the River Jordan. The answer is always the same, unbelief, lack of love (obedience to the Word), lack of an unwavering focus on the hope given by Holy Spirit, failure to listen to Holy Spirit, and failure to take the necessary corresponding action of faith. A huge percentage of teaching in the average Church is not even close to right and does not build faith in the right things which is the Word of God and our responsibility in the earth. Everybody is diddling around waiting for God to do something when all the while the ball is in our court. The Word of God and faith in that Word is the most valuable thing we have. I’m talking unwavering faith, faith that says I don’t care what other voices are saying, and I don’t care what my physical senses tell me, I am going with the Word of God. Let’s move on to verse thirty-seven.
John 6:37 (KJV)
37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
When we first look at this verse it seems like the Father is picking winners and losers bringing only certain people to Christ as He will. However, that is not the case at all. Christ Jesus has paid the price for all peoples and all peoples are called and by their own freewill come to Christ or not. Holy Spirit is calling all peoples to Christ. Jesus reassures us that when we do come to Him, we are accepted without exception. Perhaps this verse in The Living Bible will bring some added clarity.
John 6:37 (TLB)
37 But some will come to me—those the Father has given me—and I will never, never reject them.
So, now we see that there are those who will choose Christ Jesus as Lord and when they come the Father gives those to the Son. The Son, Christ Jesus will never ever reject anyone who chooses Him as Savior. We are loved unconditionally before salvation and after salvation. Where can you find that deal anywhere else? Once in the Kingdom of God, Jesus will never reject us. The only way we can leave the Kingdom is with great difficulty and rejection of Jesus and the Blood in full knowledge free of demonic deception. This Kingdom of God is being formed and directed by Christ Jesus however the day is coming when Jesus will hand the Kingdom over to the Father.
1 Corinthians 15:24 (KJV)
24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
1 Corinthians 15:24 (TLB)
24 After that the end will come when he will turn the Kingdom over to God the Father, having put down all enemies of every kind.
The Father will then have the family that He desired from the Garden of Eden and paid the very highest price to redeem. Wow, isn’t the Scripture just wonderful.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it by faith in Jesus name!
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
