DO IT THE WAY JESUS DID IT
Tuesday – June 11, 2019, Sivan 8, 5779
Greetings dear saints of God and welcome back to this powerful Bible Study of the Book of John. The Lord is taking the cover off for us to peer into His will and ways, they are not intended by God to be a secret hidden from His people. Whenever you hear people spouting off that we can’t know the ways of God cast that down, we can not only know the ways of God but walk in His ways as well. Not only are His ways to be our ways but His thoughts are to be our thoughts, and His Word are to be our words. We have the mind of Christ dear ones. The difference between knowing His ways and not knowing His ways is lack of fellowship with Him, failure to study, and a lack of willingness to take responsibility for our thoughts, words, and ways. Now let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text and read it aloud.
John 10:24-27 (KJV)
24 Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly.
25 Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father’s name, they bear witness of me.
26 But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.
27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
Before we move on let us look at how Jesus operated as The Son of man and as The Son of God in the earth. Again, He laid aside all that made Him God and operated as an Anointed man in the earth, just as we are to do. His ways are indeed to be our ways. We too are Anointed men and women in the earth, Anointed of the Holy Spirit and Power. This is what He told us during His earthly ministry.
John 14:12 (KJV)
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
How did Jesus choose what works to do and what works not to do? Many works would have looked good and seemed to be the will of God? Not everyone who was in Jesus presence or that Jesus walked by was healed by the Master. Jesus who always pleased the Father said that He only said what the Father said and He only did what the Father did, and it was the Father who did the works. Jesus was the conduit in the earth through which the power of God flowed. Any other way will result in failure. Likewise, we are to be willing and obedient conduits through which the Father can speak, and do. We are His voice and His body in the earth and He will speak through us, position us perfectly, and He will flow in power through us for His glory. This is the silver, gold, and precious stones at the Bema (judgment seat) of Christ.
John 8:28 (KJV)
28 Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.
John 8:38 (KJV)
38 I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father.
John 12:50 (KJV)
50 And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.
John 14:10 (KJV)
10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
We are not to do stuff because others are doing it, we are not to do anything because someone is encouraging us to do it, we are not even to do something because we see it in the Bible. We are to do it by the leadership of the Holy Spirit and Him only. Just as the Father made His will known to Jesus, so will He make His will known to us by the Holy Spirit. You know, this one step will take a lot of pressure off and assure that we will have minimal smoke (burning wood, hay, and stubble) at the Judgment Seat of Christ.
Matthew 11:28-30 (KJV)
28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
