THE PROPHETIC VOICE – PART TWELVE
GOD SPEAKS ALL THINGS THROUGH HIS PROPHETS
Sunday – September 8, 2019, Elul 8, 5779

Greetings dear children of God and welcome back to this Sunday series concerning Prophets and Prophecy. Hopefully each of us will find this quite instructive and use these teachings to establish proper order and understanding in the Church concerning all that are appointed of God to the Five-Fold Ministry. There are serious consequences for not honoring those Anointed of God to lead in the congregation, the Church. Unfortunately, many Churches are seeing those consequences and are searching in vain for other solutions to the problems in their particular Church. If you are reading this on Facebook please take a moment to hit the “love” and “share” buttons to give Donna and me some feedback and to partner in this way with the dissemination of the good news. God speaks all things through His Prophets and nothing is done in the earth except it be spoken by a Prophet.
Amos 3:7 (KJV)
7 Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.
Once the Prophet(s) speaks, then God will go to work to bring those Words to pass. It may take centuries or millennia but the Word of God will be performed. As you have heard me say before, God is herding cats and for the most part so are our pastors. Once the Prophet of God (and it is no different for each of us as the prophet of our lives and house) speaks, God is obligated to perform His Word.
Isaiah 44:26 (KJV)
26 That confirmeth the word of his servant, and performeth the counsel of his messengers; that saith to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be inhabited; and to the cities of Judah, Ye shall be built, and I will raise up the decayed places thereof:
Isaiah 55:11 (KJV)
11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
The Word of God spoken by His Prophets throughout time is what brought Jesus into the earth. The following passage is just one example.
Isaiah 9:6 (KJV)
6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
We know that in the fullness of time the Word became flesh and dwelt among us.
John 1:14 (KJV)
14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
The Word of God spoken through His Prophets brought Jesus into the earth and many other wonderful events. We can hinder God on the macro level (Psalm 78:41) and on the personal level even void or totally frustrate the Word of God. We can frustrate God through unbelief. We are creatures with a free will and we chose the perfect will, the permissive will (not really a good place), or
outright rebellion which is sin and results in death. The Scripture warns us about not giving the prophetic Word place or honor.
1 Thessalonians 5:20 (KJV)
20 Despise not prophesyings.
Before I leave this area of discussion concerning prophesying and Prophets let us take a minute and look at the following passage.
Acts 21:8-10 (KJV)
8 And the next day we that were of Paul’s company departed, and came unto Caesarea: and we entered into the house of Philip the evangelist, which was one of the seven; and abode with him.
9 And the same man had four daughters, virgins, which did prophesy.
10 And as we tarried there many days, there came down from Judaea a certain prophet, named Agabus.
Paul and those traveling with him are staying with Philip who has four daughters who are known to prophesy. Notice it does not say that they are Prophets but that they prophesy. All persons filled with the Holy Spirit should prophesy. It may not be a daily or even weekly thing but from time to time God may call on you because He needs you to speak into someone’s life or there may not be an obedient Prophet in the area. Then we see a man in the office of Prophet, by the name of Agabus, come and prophesy to Paul. Agabus was a Prophet but the daughters were Spirit filled women who were prone to and gifted to prophesy. The line between the two seems thin but remember that the person in the office has a position and rank that is honored by God and must be honored in our congregations. Not honoring the men and women of God will always have negative consequences. The Prophet can bring fire from Heaven and bears from the woods but not the person who prophesies outside the office of Prophet.
Amos 3:7 (KJV)
7 Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.
Revelation 10:7 (KJV)
7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.
I want to reiterate that it is very important to know that many coming events are foretold in the Scripture but God has and is revealing more contemporary and future events through His servants, the Prophets. This is the great mercy of God in our time. There is no difference in the accuracy or power of the Word of God today in the mouth of today’s Prophets then when He put His Word in the mouth of Moses, Isaiah, and all the others. Honor the Prophet and the prophetic Word, it is the Word of God and has every bit of the same force as prophesy in the Books of Genesis or Matthew. Until we understand this and move on it, we cannot move into the fulness of the End of Days.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it by faith in Jesus name!
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
