RECEIVE ME – RECEIVE HIM WHO SENT ME
Thursday – October 17, 2019, Tishrei 18, 5780

Greetings friends, sons and daughters of the Father and kings in the Kingdom of God under the authority or Lordship of Christ Jesus. Each of us are freewill creations who by our own will subject ourselves to the will of God. God has never made anyone do anything and never will. Each of us choose our own course, it can be wondrous according to His will in the Kingdom or it can be disastrous going our own way. One may be thinking, well my life is not disastrous, what about when you compare it to what is possible in the perfect will of God?
John 10:10 (KJV)
10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
Jesus did not come to give us poverty of any kind in this world or that which is to come, it is His covenant that we be wealthy (yes, in property and cash) and that we walk in supernatural health free of the curse. If you are reading this on Facebook please take a moment and hit the “love” and “share” buttons to partner with me in the spread of the gospel. The featured pictures this week are scenic shots in the Ocean Point area on the coast of Maine. Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text for today.
John 13:18-22 (KJV)
18 I speak not of you all: I know whom I have chosen: but that the scripture may be fulfilled, He that eateth bread with me hath lifted up his heel against me.
19 Now I tell you before it come, that, when it is come to pass, ye may believe that I am he.
20 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.
21 When Jesus had thus said, he was troubled in spirit, and testified, and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me.
22 Then the disciples looked one on another, doubting of whom he spake.
You may be thinking that things, these teachings, are a little heavy this week. Be encouraged, as we pursue after Him, the pure milk and the pure meat (Word of God) will cause us to grow up into Him. We are His treasured jewels in the Kingdom of God. Let us determine in our own hearts to pursue hard after the Master in the fear of the Lord and be one of these in the following passage.
Malachi 3:16-18 (KJV)
16 Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.
17 And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.
18 Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.
Yes, Jesus is returning, and yes, He will distinguish between those who have served Him and those that have not served Him. Now, let’s turn our attention back to our primary text and the title of this teaching before we close for today. I am sure each of us recognize that this is something Jesus emphasized over and over. We cannot receive the Father without receiving Him nor can we receive Him and not the Father. The same is true of us, if we are rejected it is the same as the person or group rejecting Jesus and the Father and really the Holy Spirit as well.
Mark 6:11-13 (KJV)
11 And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear you, when ye depart thence, shake off the dust under your feet for a testimony against them. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.
12 And they went out, and preached that men should repent.
13 And they cast out many devils, and anointed with oil many that were sick, and healed them.
These men went out in twos to preach the Kingdom of God, to preach the gospel, the good news, the Messiah has come. They preached the Word of God and God confirmed the Word by supplying the Power to cast out devils and heal the sick. Is this not what we are to be doing as a part of our supernatural lives?
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name!
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
