HUMAN LIKE CREATURES BEFORE ADAM

Welcome back to the trail of blood that started in Heaven and ends in Heaven. Jesus is the Lamb slain before the foundation of the world and with His Resurrection He took His very own Blood to the Mercy Seat of Heaven. In the mind, the reality of God, existence without time, the Redemption had already occurred when He breathed of Himself into the body of Adam. I will continue teaching today from my book, Awake, Arise, and Triumph, Book II, God’s Road to Redemption, chapter six. I concluded yesterday, continuing to talk about the Blood Covenant leading to the Cross and beyond, so that is where we will pick up today.
ABRAM – ABRAHAM – Part one
We now come to a critical juncture in the trail of blood. Before I start with the account of Abram (high father), later called Abraham (father of a multitude), I want to point out that Abram may have been the first man that would make a blood covenant with God in all of its parts and keep it. As I pointed out in my first Book – Awake, Arise, and Triumph – Book I – God’s Original Intent, God tends to repeat patterns. Perhaps you have noticed, so do we. We know from the archeological record and from Scripture that there was at least one age before this one. We know that between verses one and two of the Bible, there was rebellion in Heaven; and Lucifer is thrown out of Heaven to the earth (Revelation 12:19 & Luke 10:18). We see in Revelation 12:9 that Satan had deceived all of the earth that was.
After the Millennial Age, Satan will be loosed on the earth for a short time to test the people of the earth concerning their love of Jesus; and he will deceive many. Following this, Satan will be cast forever into the lake of fire (Revelation 20:7-10). It is not clear how many people from the millennial age are not deceived. You see, during the Millennial Age, there was no deceiver; but when he is loosed at the end of that age, he deceives a significant portion of the earth. I find it difficult to believe that all people will be deceived, but on the other hand think about Lucifer before his fall and Adam and Eve. There is no more blood, and there remains no further redemption. That is to say, Christ is already come. Multitudes are saved during the Tribulation period, and I believe that many will be saved and not reject the Lordship of Jesus throughout the Millennial Age. The armies of those described as the deceived are as the sand of the sea (Revelation 20:8), a very great number. Those who are deceived on the earth today could be described as the sand of the sea. To not test the people of the Millennial Age would make a farce of the redemptive blood of Jesus. The people of the Millennial Age must make a conscious choice for Jesus.
We see at the time of Noah that there was only one man on the earth who was righteous; and for his sake, God did not destroy the earth. Apparently, this man Noah would not make or keep a blood covenant as Abram will in time to come. Abraham had to be willing to sacrifice his son Isaac and apparently Noah was not willing to sacrifice Shem. It seems that in the creation past, there was not a single being found that would honor God and keep covenant; and so, they passed from the earth, left entirely to the rage of Satan, by their own choice.
All creatures, creations before Adam that appeared human were not in the image and likeness of God and did not have the Spirit of God, the breath of life? That is, they were like animals (humanoid in physical appearance) having a facsimile of a soul (brain, will, emotions), like us but not the spirit of God that could hear from God. It is all very interesting to think about these of the eras before Adam. Are they sentient or not, do they have a part in the plan of God that we do not yet completely understand? They may well have been sentient but were without a living soul.
In Genesis 1:26, God speaks and says, “Let us make man in our image and likeness”; and then in Genesis 2:7, he breathes into them the “breath of life”, and they become “a living soul”. In Genesis 1:26, it appears that the word “now” is implied. So, it would read, now let us and so on. Perhaps they were sentient, but there was no Noah and no Abram. Being sentient means they had emotions, were responsive to stimuli, were perceptive, attentive but lacked intellect.
Noah was critical to our redemption, because his righteousness allowed man to remain upon the earth. By his right standing and right doing before God (righteousness), Noah, his wife, his sons and their wives were saved; just as Lot was saved with his daughters from Sodom and Gomorrah by the righteousness of Abram. Then came Abram, the father of us all (Romans 4:16).
TAKE HOME:
- Abram/Abraham and his son Isaac were the first people to enter into Blood Covenant with God in all aspects.
- In all of eternity, past, present, future, there were, there are, and there never will be being like unto us in the image and likeness of God.
- Noah was a righteous man, and it saved his family.
