THE GOODNESS OF THE FATHER
Thursday – March 12, 2020, Adar 16, 5780
Greeting to our precious friends and partners of this Ministry and The Three Minute Word blog. God is so good to bring such wonderful people into our lives. Welcome back to this in-depth Bible Study of the Book of John which can bring all of our lives into a far better place than we currently have no matter our financial or health condition. There is no upside limit in the Kingdom of God. In other words, if we have only one dollar and we choose to focus on God, on the Kingdom of God, there is no limit to what God will do for each of us personally. That one dollar can become several billion. Just think what the Lord could call on us individually to do with several billion dollars (even trillions) in our control subject to the voice of God. Is the one dollar in our pocket yielded to Him or do we hold back? Perhaps some of us can now see why our finances never progressed or have even regressed. The horrible financial and health teachings in the Church cause the Church to be impotent (weak, powerless). The featured picture today is of Donna and me last year at Ocean Point. Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text for today and read it aloud.
John 15:7-10 (KJV)
7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
9 As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.
10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.
When we live the Word of God the Word of God will be manifested in our lives. When we do not live the Word of God there may be some goodness of God but there will be way too much curse. Let’s say we determine to get the curse out of our lives. That is not to say we won’t be presented with opportunities to have the curse in our lives but it is our choice in the Spirit of God led life to let the curse in or not. We do not have to let poverty and ill health or other adversity into our lives. Just think about the storms on the Sea of Galilee, did they adversely affect Jesus? When the Jews wanted to kill Jesus, He didn’t let His feathers get ruffled, He just walked away? Do we see Jesus wringing His hands about money? Do we hear Him taking a week off due to the flu or any other physical ailment? Now, don’t give me the “but that was Jesus line”. Jesus walked the earth as a man not God, He had to do things the way of the Word, He had to be led of the Holy Spirit, He had to walk in faith, and walk in love. And, He said we were to do it exactly the way He did and we would be empowered to do even greater things (John 14:12).
These teachings are as much for me as they are for you. I for one want the fulness of the Word of God that Jesus paid for in His coming, on the Cross, in Hell, and with the Resurrection. Any way one might cut it we are falling way short of the wonderful perfect will of God. Yes, yes, yes, we are fully capable of walking in the perfect will of God. We don’t have a God who gives us all these examples good and bad, wonderful instruction, salvation, the Holy Spirit with Power, and then says “just kidding”. When we live the Word of God, and the Word of God manifests in lives we are an effective witness. As I move forward, I want all of us to be clear that our asking has to do with declaring the will of God as we see it in Scripture and as led of the Holy Spirit. We do it in faith and in love. We are to declare, decree a thing, or command a thing and it will be done for us by the Father (Holy Spirit). This pattern is manifested from Genesis to Revelation. The current pattern of the Church of begging God is a tradition of men and a doctrine of devils. When people did not have faith and wrong motives (lack of love) they developed a theology to match the reality of their lives.
Before the Cross, what was the fruit of Jesus’ life? Remember, the fruit of a tree is the part that is useful to another. For example, the apples on an apple tree. Jesus life, way of living, His thinking, speaking, and ways produced much fruit. Consider the following Scriptures, let them speak.
Luke 4:18-19 (KJV)
18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
Luke 7:22 (KJV)
22 Then Jesus answering said unto them, Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached.
Jesus glorified the Father, are we?
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
