GIFTS – PART TWENTY-ONE

Greetings dear and wonderful friends and partners of this Ministry and blog. We truly hope that all of you are enjoying this Sunday series titled “Gifts”. I have started with the foundational gift of salvation or at least I will get to it in time. First, I have been laying out the legal foundation that was necessary for salvation to be available to mankind.
Romans 6:23 (KJV)
23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
We know from other Scripture that God can get frustrated with mankind. This is not surprising since we get frustrated with one another and we are in His image and likeness. I am sure He has had opportunity to shake His head in frustration with me from time to time but I am so thankful for repentance, forgiveness, restoration, and His abundant compassion and mercy.

What could be easier in being a part of the “Great Commission”? Now, let’s pick up our study in Genesis chapter twenty-two, the most pivotal chapter in the whole Bible except for the day Jesus went to Calvary.
Genesis 22:15-19 (KJV)
15 And the angel of the LORD called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time,
16 And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son:
17 That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;
18 And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.
19 So Abraham returned unto his young men, and they rose up and went together to Beersheba; and Abraham dwelt at Beersheba.
Now, let’s pick up with one of the most pivotal accounts leading to redemption in all of Scripture, Genesis Chapter twenty-two. Last week the Lord led me into an admonishment concerning despising (giving little attention) to the Old Testament. Listen to the Words of the Master on that topic then right back to our primary text.
Matthew 5:17-19 (KJV)
17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
Matthew 24:35 (KJV)
35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
Do you think any of this would cover those who are not tithing and teaching others not to tithe? Now to our primary text in Genesis twenty-two. I talked two weeks ago about the angel of the LORD calling to Abraham out of heaven (pleural) and what a supernatural event that was in and of itself. Notice that Genesis 22:12 is very similar to Genesis 22:16.
Genesis 22:12 (KJV)
12 And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me.
Twelve is the number of God’s perfect government and sixteen is the number of love. We have two verses saying the same thing and two is the number of Jesus. This is a foretelling of the advent of the Church, God’s perfect government for this time, it is foretelling the love (obedience to Scripture) of God to bring The Redeemer into the earth. Think of it in relation to the following well known verse.
John 3:16 (KJV)
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Isn’t the Word of God just wonderful, there is buried treasure in every word, every verse, every passage, and every number. Oh, our God is so good!
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
