AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH

NOW COME I TO THEE
Greetings to all of our dear friends and partners who follow and support this blog. We are thankful for each and every one of you. Today I will be picking up with our study of the Book of John. Please, take a moment right now to share this teaching as widely as possible to expand the influence of this Ministry, but more importantly expand the reach of the Truth. The featured picture today is of Donna and me enjoying each other, fellowship with Pastors Tom and Lori DuPerry, and the scenic beauty on a recent trip to Quill Hill in Rangeley Maine, a truly amazing and beautiful area.
The November 3rd elections will soon be upon us here in the United States. God holds each of us responsible to vote and He holds us responsible for how we vote. This is not just a citizenship responsibility, obligation, but a stewardship responsibility before God. The United States is a part of our garden.
Genesis 2:15 (AMP)
15 And the Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to tend and guard and keep it.
Many Christians are praying for our nation (have been for years) with many concerns including COVID-19, the violence, abortion, sexual perversions, and many other wicked manifestations of evil. Others may be praying for these things but also for an awakening. I think we can all agree that we want our land healed. Is our land healed? Why not? Are we in a great awakening? Why not?
2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV)
14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Have God’s people repented and God is just taking His good ole time healing the land? Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text and read it aloud, yes, out loud.
John 17:11-16 (KJV)
11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.
12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.
13 And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.
14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
Isn’t this Book of John just wonderful and God is so gracious and merciful too unravel every mystery. The things of God are hidden from the people of this world and our demonic enemies but not the people of God. It only remains hidden from the people of God when we are not diligent and don’t study. He will tell us anything we are willing to spend the time with Him to learn. Sometimes what we are asking requires a broad foundation which we may not have at the moment and so the knowledge we seek will only come once that foundation is securely in place. It might take years, even decades. The time lapse is more up to us then up to Him. One might think, “well I don’t care about all of that, I just want to get to Heaven”. What a slothful (lazy) attitude! The less we know the less of the Blessing will be manifest in our lives. If you like the curse manifestations in your life which are growing worse by the day stick with ignorance. If you want the Blessing overflowing push into His knowledge and have grace and peace multiplied. If we want to do the full and perfect will of God, God’s wonderful path for us (anything less is sin, dereliction of duty) let’s push into knowledge of Him. Knowledge by itself is information, understood and applied knowledge in the Kingdom of God is light, revelation, and accomplishes much for the Kingdom.
As I am winding down for today let’s take a peek at verse thirteen of our primary Bible text. Notice the phrase, “that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.” Those who have followed this blog over an extended period of time know that I have taught about the “joy of the Lord” many times. Do we have His joy in full mature manifestation in our lives? No, we do not and each of us knows that in our hearts. So, what is being said here by the master? We do have the same potential for the manifestation of joy as Jesus. Yes! We are a spirit with a soul (mind, will, and emotions), and we live in a physical body. Our spirit and soul are of the spirit realm and our body of the natural realm.
At creation (of Adam) God breathed of Himself into Adam and he became a living soul. Our spirit man has the same DNA as our Heavenly Father just as our physical body has the same DNA as our earthly father and mother. At salvation the Holy Spirit comes to reside within and quickens or makes alive our spirit. Joy is a fruit of our spirit, and a fruit of the Holy Spirit (God). The full expression of joy or not is up to us. The expression of joy is strength for us and strengthens others in their time of need. The joy of the Lord is our strength and so our joy is His strength. Jesus is saying that we have the same capacity for the expression of joy that He had in the earth. When we bring joy to the Lord His Power is free to flow in our lives. This occurs in the absence of sin and in the presence of willing obedience. In turn, the flow of God in our lives brings us much joy. Said another way, when God is obedient to do His part as said in Scripture we are filled with joy. Our joy can be identical with that of Jesus but it will not fall on us without effort. We are of like kind with God, we are gods (little g). Religious spirits settle down.

2 Chronicles 20:20b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
