I HAVE DECLARED LOVE

Greetings dear and precious saints of the only living God and welcome back to this engaging Bible Study of the Book of John. Before proceeding please take a moment to share this teaching as widely as possible. God is so good, we must tell the good, good news. Tomorrow is election day here in the United States. If you have not voted already please do so fulfilling your civic responsibility to government and your spiritual responsibility to God. Voting is a stewardship issue both in the natural and the spiritual. Be sure you have reviewed a reliable Christian Voter Guide and/or have read both the Republican and Democrat platforms. If you live in Maine you know that COVID-19 is spiking here. I strongly encourage each one to follow the directives of the Governor. Wear the mask over the nose and mouth, social distance, and observe the attendance limits for inside gatherings. We do this to honor the authority of the government, to honor our fellow man, but most of all to honor and obey God. These things are not a matter of interpretation. The Scriptures to obey all those in authority are not obscure passages from say Ezekiel but made very clear like the following.
1 Peter 2:13-15 (KJV)
13 Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord’s sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme;
14 Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well.
15 For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men:
Now, let’s dive into our Bible lesson and start by reading our primary Bible text aloud, yes, out loud.
John 17:26 (KJV)
26 And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.
As we come to the end of chapter seventeen Jesus is ending His discourse, prayer, with the Father before He carries out or is obedient to the central purpose of His coming. This is all happening in the middle of the night and in just a few hours Jesus will be nailed to the Cross. As we move forward let’s look at this verse in the New Living Translation for just a little more clarity.
John 17:26 (NLT)
26 I have revealed you to them, and I will continue to do so. Then your love for me will be in them, and I will be in them.”
Jesus is telling them and us that in His coming and time in the earth He has made the Father known, widened their and our vision of the Father. The life and Ministry of Jesus adds much to our understanding about the Father. In spite of the fact Jesus had told them He only said what the Father said, only did what He saw the Father doing, and the Father did the works, they were looking for something else. Are we doing the same? Every miracle, healing, manifestation of God in Scripture, in the Ministry of Jesus or elsewhere, came by way of the Father. The Father is the originator of all things God. The Father is the soul if you will of God, Jesus is the body, the speaker, and the Holy Spirit the spirit and Power of God. Every manifestation of God comes by way of the Holy Spirit, He is the Anointing, the Power of God, the final common pathway to accomplish the will of God. Listen to the following passage.
John 14:6-8 (KJV)
6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
Like the disciples that day are we also failing to recognize the love (manifestations) of the Father in our presence? Are we discerning what is of God, of the Father, and what is not? Jesus, the second person of the Triune Co-equal God, has always been, He is the Word of God (John 1:1). There never has been a way to God period without the Word. The words of our testimony and the Blood of the Lamb are the way to the Father. Our testimony is Jesus, the Word of God. We have to receive the Word, believe the Word in our heart, and confess the Word with our mouth (same way we got saved). The Blood of Jesus ratified the Blood Covenant with Abraham, an eternal Covenant with all men who will receive Jesus (the way, the Truth, the life), the Word. Notice Jesus’ answer.
John 14:9 (KJV)
9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
Can we say the same? If people see us, are they seeing Jesus, seeing the Father? Are we Anointed and about the Fathers’ business (Kingdom of God) of removing burdens and shattering yokes? Are we doing the things Jesus did and the greater things? Why not? We have the same Holy Spirit, the same Anointing as Jesus!
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (KJV)
19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.
Let’s get about the business of the Kingdom and show forth the goodness of God so that people know we have been with Jesus. They will know we are a child, a son, of God and fear us (Psalm 91). Lord willing, I will pick up right here tomorrow.
2 Chronicles 20:20b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
