A WELL OF TRUTH
AS THE MASTER – PART FIVE
Greetings dear and precious friends and partners of this Ministry, Eastern Gate Ministries International, Inc. Welcome back to “A Well of Truth”. Before I delve back into our topic “As the Master – Part Five”, please take a moment and share these teachings as widely as possible to expand our reach with the gospel, the Truth. It has always been imperative that we know and do the Truth and that has not changed in the millennia since the creation, or since Christ. The will of God is unchanging from creation to this very moment and forever. Our topic being “As the Master” is referring to Jesus and His Ministry in the earth. Most people do not believe that we can be as Jesus, the man, in His Ministry in the earth. In fact, many don’t even believe that Jesus operated as a man, and not God, in the earth. See what Scripture says.
Acts 10:38 (KJV)
38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
If Jesus was operating as God in the earth there would have been no need for the Father to Anoint Him. Notice the text identifies Jesus with His humanity by using the phrase, “Jesus of Nazareth”. We likewise have been (those baptized with the Holy Spirit and Power with the evidence of speaking in tongues) Anointed to go about doing good and healing (God through us) all that are oppressed of the devil. Listen to Jesus (you are reading out loud, right?) in the following verse.
John 14:12 (KJV)
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
Jesus, the Head of the Church, says that if we believe on Him, we are commanded to do the works He did and even greater works. The condition is believing on Him, being fully persuaded, and the commands (not a suggestion) are to do what He did and greater works than He did, in His earthly Ministry. Why? He has gone to the Father and once again has given us His full authority and the Blessing to back up this authority exercised according to His will. Has this Truth been stolen from the Church? Since the creation of man, there is no example in the Bible of God acting in the earth independent of a man (or woman). Jesus made it clear not just in the preceding verse but in the following, we are to be just like Him.
Luke 6:40 (KJV)
40 The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master.
Notice, the disciple is to “be as his master”. We are the disciple and He is the Master. Notice the qualifier, we must be perfect or completely His.
Matthew 10:24-25 (KJV)
24 The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord.
25 It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?
Again, “It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master”. We must walk as He walked in the earth. Yes, yes, it is possible, get rid of that mindset, Jesus said so, and He is just. Back to our primary text.

When will we believe this and see it manifest not only in our own lives but in many around about us?

20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
