A WELL OF TRUTH
LET’S TALK ABOUT PEACE AGAIN

Greetings dear and precious saints of God and welcome back to “A Well of Truth”. Today we are returning to the topic of “peace”, our peace and the peace of God. Please take a moment and share this teaching as widely as possible by every means available to you. Thank you so much for sharing. Those who follow this blog of Bible teachings on a regular basis know that I have talked about peace quite a bit off and on over the last several months. There is too much of wanting God to do all the heavy lifting while we sit by. God will do what we cannot, heavy lifting, when we have done our part, lifted what we can lift at our stage of maturity. God expects us to mature, the failure to mature is sin. Let us remind ourselves that peace is one of the fruits of our spirit. Peace is produced by our spirit. The Holy Spirit also produces peace. That is where we got our ability to have, to produce peace (Genesis 2:7).
Galatians 5:22-23 (KJV)
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
Remember that the fruit is the end product. For example, in order to have the fruit of an apple an apple street is required. To produce the same peace that God has one must have a quickened spirit man (be born again). The fruit itself is what is beneficial to us, to others, to the Kingdom of God. Adam before sin was able to produce peace at extraordinary levels. It was until the possibility of the new birth that having supernatural peace was possible. A dead man does not produce anything. Our spirit man is dead until salvation, the quickening by the Holy Spirit, and we spring to life and can produce supernaturally all the fruits of the Spirit/spirit.
John 14:27 (KJV)
27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
Notice that peace and the command to not let our hearts be troubled and to not be afraid are intimately tied together. It is a command, therefore it is possible, for us not to have troubled minds and to not be afraid (no fear here). We can the exact same capacity for peace Jesus had and the very same capacity to receive peace of God the Holy Spirit when we are a little lacking or immature.
Let’s review once again what Godly peace is so we know what is produced from the ground of our spirit man. Seeds of peace sown into our spirit man will determine the extent of our peace crop (fruit). The Greek word for peace transliterated to English is eirēnē meaning to have prosperity, be one, quietness, have rest, be one again with God according to Strong’s Talking Greek & Hebrew Dictionary. The prosperity produced is not just for us although it is a powerful witness, it is a tool to help others and expand the Kingdom of God. We ourselves are one again, spirit, soul, and body, able to fully function as the supernatural creation God intended. The ground of our spirit can produce a tranquility, a quietness, in us and those around us like nothing in the natural. When one knows without doubt, fully persuaded who they are in Christ Jesus they will be a cool cucumber. The rest produced is the ability to participate or receive all of God’s provisions from the beginning. And fifth, we are one with our Savior, with the Father and with the Holy Spirit. Those who are with us are for us and God is certainly for us, look at the lengths He went to for the redemption of His family. As I close for today, meditate and rejoice over the following passage.
Romans 8:30-32 (PassionNTPsa)
30 Having determined our destiny ahead of time, he called us to himself and transferred his perfect righteousness to everyone he called. And those who possess his perfect righteousness he co-glorified with his Son!
31 So, what does all this mean? If God has determined to stand with us, tell me, who then could ever stand against us? (Bold added)
32 For God has proved his love by giving us his greatest treasure, the gift of his Son. And since God freely offered him up as the sacrifice for us all, he certainly won’t withhold from us anything else he has to give.
Lord willing, I will return next Sunday with another fresh Word from the Throne.
2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Receive the blessing in Jesus’ name!
Numbers 6:24-26 (MSG)
24 GOD bless you and keep you,
25 GOD smile on you and gift you,
26 GOD look you full in the face and make you prosper.
