FROM THE PROPHETS CHAMBER – WEEK EIGHTY-FOUR
SON – AMBASSADOR – HEIR – PART SIX
Greetings dear and precious sons (new creature), ambassadors, and joint-heirs and welcome back to these teachings From the Prophets Chamber. Today will be part six in this engaging and encouraging study of at least a part of who we are in Christ. Before moving forward into the teaching please take a few minutes and share this teaching as widely as possible using every means available to you. Thank you for sharing. You have a very important role in disseminating the good news and widening the reach of this Ministry. God bless you richly. Now let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text reading out loud.
2 Corinthians 5:17-20 (KJV)
17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.
Romans 8:17 (KJV)
17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
Today I am going to at least start to deal with the word ‘creature’ in 2 Corinthians 5:17. As we will see shortly this word in the Greek very closely resembles the word for son in the Hebrew. So, this could easily be translated that “if any man be in Christ, he is a new” son! Are we not indeed new sons when we make Jesus Lord and Savior?
Galatians 4:6-7 (KJV)
6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
7 Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
First let’s look at ‘creature’ in the Greek. Creature means to be returned to the original formation, to be a builder, creation or creator, putting in place ordinances, or an owner having proprietorship according to Strong’s Talking Greek & Hebrew Dictionary. Now, let’s look at son in the Hebrew (bēn) meaning a son is a builder of the family name, a builder, one who obtains children, makes things, repairs, and sets things up according to Strong’s Talking Greek & Hebrew Dictionary. We are son’s dear ones and responsible for the family name and the building of the Kingdom of God. When sons (daughters also) are of a certain age (maturity) they are to participate in the family business and there are certain responsibilities mandated by the Heavenly Father from the beginning. These have not changed and apply to us all.
Genesis 1:26 (KJV)
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
Man was made just a little lower than God and was to function just like God. God gave dominion or authority to man over all the earth. Let me reiterate, God gave all authority to man in the earth, all dear ones. God cannot without committing an illegal act (break His own law which is sin) just do anything He wants in the earth or in our individual lives without the agreement of one or more in authority. I know this just ruffles some feathers, it is Bible and it is His idea. Your controversy is not with me but with God, He wrote this Book we call the Scripture or Holy Bible. God then gave us the Power, the Blessing, to enforce our authority according to His laws.
Genesis 1:28 (KJV)
28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
Here we find the first four mandates, commands, which are to be fruitful, multiply, replenish, and subdue the earth. Let’s keep going.
Genesis 2:15-17 (KJV)
15 And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.
16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
Here we find the final three of seven eternal mandates which are to take care of what He has given us, to guard it, and to not mix good with evil. Now look back at how a son is defined and I think you will quickly see the connection.

20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
