FROM THE PROPHETS CHAMBER
DO ALL HIS COMMANDMENTS – PART TWENTY
Greetings dear and precious saints of God and welcome back to From the Prophets Chamber and the topic Do All His Commands. It is my hope that this study will consolidate the idea that we cannot go overboard in our walk with the Lord. There is no such thing as being too obedient to the Word. People say things sometimes like; “they are so Heavenly minded they are no earthly good”. At times I know what they mean, however if they are indeed Heavenly minded, they will do the best for the Kingdom of God upon the earth. We cannot be too focused on the Kingdom of God and His way of doing things. In the end a good number of the things we thought were just so important will cost us at the Judgment and those things and only those things for the Kingdom of God will profit us. Please take a moment and share this teaching as widely as possible by every means available to you. Thank you for sharing. The featured picture is of me teaching the Word of God.
As we turn to our primary Bible text remember the Blessing is the empowerment from God, the Anointing, to prosper in every area of life. That is both spiritual and physical prosperity. You may have heard the song with words that go something like this: “I’d rather have Jesus than silver and gold or a vast domain”, that is a false choice. When you have Jesus, you can have as much silver and gold as you will step into, it is yours. It is the will of God that we have both! However, it is not automatic because you got saved and walk the earth. Please be sure you are reading out loud.
Deuteronomy 28:1 (KJV)
1 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:
This is perhaps an inconvenient Truth. Sickness and lack of any kind are not an expected part of the Christians life, nor our cross to bear. These things gain entrance by disobedience, it is part of the curse. As we are moving down through the blessings which shall come to pass in response to obedience, obedience to the Truth, there is no mixing in of the curse. The curse has no place in our lives so long as our hand is in His hand.
Deuteronomy 28:10-13 (KJV)
10 And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the LORD; and they shall be afraid of thee.
11 And the LORD shall make thee plenteous in goods, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers to give thee.
12 The LORD shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow.
13 And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them:
Last Saturday we ended talking briefly about verse eleven above. There is a place that we are supposed to by according to the good plan of God. This American idea that you can be anything you want to be and go where ever you want to go is not a God idea. God has a plan that will yield far (not even close) more benefit for the Kingdom of God and ourselves than anything we could ever coble together.
Luke 12:32 (KJV)
32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
The Kingdom includes both Heaven and earth. Earthly treasure does not just drop on us anymore than spiritual treasure, we must follow the Lord and obtain it. It is all available but we have a part and that part always comes before the manifestation.
Matthew 16:19 (KJV)
19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
Don’t be confused by the term “kingdom of heaven” this includes the earth, it is the Kingdom of God and we are commanded to have Heaven upon the earth. We have the keys, what are we doing with them? We have the authority to bind and loose what are we doing with it? Do we have a clue as to how it works? Dear ones we are sons!
Galatians 4:4-7 (NIV)
4 But when the time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under law,
5 to redeem those under law, that we might receive the full rights of sons.
6 Because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, “Abba, Father.”
7 So you are no longer a slave, but a son; and since you are a son, God has made you also an heir.
We have a super-rich Father (understatement) and we are super-rich as well but most of us have not used the keys of the Kingdom.
