FROM THE PROPHETS CHAMBER
DO ALL HIS COMMANDMENTS – PART TWENTY-ONE

Greetings dear and precious saints of God and welcome back to From the Prophets Chamber and the topic Do All His Commands. It is my hope that this study will consolidate the idea that we cannot go overboard in our walk with the Lord. There is no such thing as being too obedient to the Word. People say things sometimes like; “they are so Heavenly minded they are no earthly good”. I think we know what they mean, however if the person being referenced is indeed Heavenly (Kingdom of God) minded, they will be Gods’ powerhouse in the earth. We cannot be too focused on the Kingdom of God and His way of doing things. In the end a good number of the things we thought were just so important will cost us at the Judgment. Those things and only those things for the Kingdom of God will profit us. Please take a moment and share this teaching as widely as possible by every means available to you. Thank you for sharing. Today is my birthday, where has the time gone. The featured picture is of me at the Saltgrass Steak House last year on my birthday.
As we turn to our primary Bible text remember the Blessing is the empowerment from God, the Anointing, to prosper in every area of life. That is both spiritual and physical prosperity. You may have heard the song with words that go something like this: “I’d rather have Jesus than silver and gold or a vast domain”, that is a false choice. When you have Jesus, you can have as much silver and gold as you will step into, it is yours. It is the will of God that we have both! However, it is not automatic because you got saved and walk the earth. Please continue reading out loud.
Deuteronomy 28:1 (KJV)
1 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:
As I have mentioned many times, verse one above is the prerequisite for seeing any blessings from God. There are many things that people refer to as blessings of God however it is no different than what the world is experiencing. What we experience as the children of God, joint-heirs with Christ, owners of the entire Kingdom of God (spiritual and physical) should be way above the world. When the world starts to see this in you and me, see it all around them in the body of Christ the Church buildings will not be able to contain the expanding body of Christ. Now, to our text picking up, focusing on verse twelve.
Deuteronomy 28:10-13 (KJV)
10 And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the LORD; and they shall be afraid of thee.
11 And the LORD shall make thee plenteous in goods, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers to give thee.
12 The LORD shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow.
13 And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them:
Have you positioned yourself for the Lord to open His good treasure? Remember verse one is the prerequisite! Then we must be motivated by love (agape), walking in unwavering faith, and led of the Holy Spirit, the Holy Word of God. The Lord will show you, if you ask and do, how to prosper abundantly. Review the account of the widow of Zarephath told us in 1st Kings chapter seventeen. Let’s ask ourselves, are we in a lending position financially or in a borrowing position? Or perhaps our finances are just enough to keep our head above water? Debt, borrowing, is a trap of the enemy.
Proverbs 22:7 (KJV)
7 The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.
Romans 13:8 (KJV)
8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here next week.

2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper. (Bold added)
Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 (KJV)
13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. (Bold added)
14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
