Let us once again be reminded to pray for the Seven Pillars of society, established by God, by Wisdom. These are present in Heaven and are mirrored in the earth now seriously corrupted by the original pervert (The Serpent).
Proverbs 9:1 (AMP)
1 WISDOM HAS built her house; she has hewn out and set up her seven [perfect number of] pillars.
Please do not be confused by the use of the word ‘her’ twice in the preceding verse. If you research this word it is gender neutral in the original or the oldest manuscripts. Each of us are on assignment in one or more pillars. We have been assigned our pillar(s) by God the Father, we are led by God the Son, and we are empowered without limit by God the Holy Spirit. The amount of power operating in our lives is according to our faith, our love, and our hope. We choose, it is not some grand plan of God that we should be limited, we choose. This brings us to our primary text.
Colossians 2:8-9 (KJV)
8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
I left off yesterday in the midst of a discussion of verse nine. Let me point out that Colossians is the twelfth book of the New Testament, we are in the second chapter, dealing with the eighth and ninth verses. Twelve is governmental perfection and have no doubt that we, the Church, are to be governing the earth and being the light of the world. Two is the number of union in this case with God, with Jesus, with the Holy Spirit. Eight is the number of new beginnings and nine the number of divine completeness from and in the Lord. We are to reign in this life by and in union with Jesus Christ. We have a new beginning in Him and we are made complete (not partial) in Him).
Romans 5:17 (KJV)
17 For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)
In Colossians 2:9 the Apostle Paul by the unction of the Holy Spirit tells us that the the fullness of the Godhead lives in Jesus’ physical body right now in Heaven. This is saying that even though Jesus is in a physical body which is eternal and incorruptible He cannot be any more or have any more God than what exists. Let me ask this; where are we located? We are in Him! The amount of God in Him, which is infinite, is in us for we are in Him. We are governed by our faith, love and exercise of hope. Maturity determines the authority and power operating in our lives.
Galatians 4:1-2 (KJV)
1 Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all; 2 But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.
