JESUS WILL RAISE US UP

Greetings and welcome back to this powerful and insightful Bible teaching of the Book of John. The featured picture is of my backyard in mid-November. The situation (snow wise) I am sure will be much different when this is published (written 10th Dec). The black metal in the foreground is a wonderful swing for the pleasant months, you will also notice a goat in the distance who keeps begging me to take him to Texas (smile). Before we get to the actual lesson today in the Book of John, I want to briefly bring something forward that the Lord has been stirring around in my spirit and mind for weeks to bring center stage for the body of Christ. It is commonly heard among Christians and in the Congregation that a day is coming when every knee will bow before Jesus, at the name of Jesus. Dear saints this is what the Voice from the Throne says; that day came some 2000 years ago, it is not a future event, it is a past, current, and forever now event. Now let us look at the Scripture which is being referenced when we hear this being said that one day every knee will bow.
Philippians 2:9-11 (KJV)
9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Dear saints of God, research this, none of it is future tense! Jesus was exalted to the right hand of the Father some 2000 years ago, and from that moment every knee must bow at that name. Brother and sister, we have been given that name, it is part of our name, our very identity. If this is true and it is 100% the Truth, why don’t we see every knee bowing? A lack of faith, our lack of faith, lack of faith in that name, a lack of faith that His Words in our mouth will cause every knee to bow. Every knee like cancer, like hypertension, like heart disease, like poverty, like broken families, broken government, broken Churches, and so on. Why do we lack this faith, simple, it is not taught in our Churches! Oh, how slack we are. Let us repent and exercise the authority we have and are fully expected by God to exercise for we will answer one day as to what we did with the authority He gave us. That is our pep talk (a very serious Truth) for the day or as one of my sons would say; “Dad’s rant of the day”. Now let’s go to our text from the Book of John.
John 6:42-47 (KJV)
42 And they said, Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? how is it then that he saith, I came down from heaven?
43 Jesus therefore answered and said unto them, Murmur not among yourselves.
44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
45 It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.
46 Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father.
47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.
I think we all understand what “murmuring” is but in case we don’t it means to grumble or complain. It would seem that this grumbling is rooted in seeing Jesus and the conversation that day from a purely natural not a combined natural and spiritual aspect. Perhaps there were elements of envy, and jealousy, after all envy is what brought Jesus to the Cross. Jesus in effect tells them to shush down and He goes on teaching and preaching Truths they should have already known like when Jesus talked with Nicodemus.
John 3:9-10 (KJV)
9 Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?
10 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?
I have a similar response when I hear things like one day every knee will bow or God is in control (rant for another day). The reason every knee isn’t bowing right now is OUR lack of faith not a lack of power in the name or a delayed benefit of the Sacrifice. We call ourselves Christians even Christian leaders and we know not these things?!

24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
