LOVE IS ACTING LIKE GOD
Monday – February 18, 2019, Adar A 13, 5779
Greetings dear saints of God and welcome back to The Three Minute Word and the weekday teachings from the Book of John. Remember that apart from salvation there is nothing more powerful than the Word of God coupled with the name of Jesus. Of course, faith must be present, of love (motivation), and led of the Holy Spirit. Prayer is not the most powerful tool we have, knowing our Covenant and activating it in faith with the words of our mouth (His Words) brings the desired result. Prayer helps us uncover the will of God and give us a battle plan (His battle plan for us). God fights zero battles absent us doing our part. So, if you see your brains splattered all over creation it might be worthwhile to see why in the Word of God. Our stumbling around in the curse broke and sick brings no glory (does not show the goodness of God) to God no matter how good our attitude but is a reproach to the Cross and the Kingdom. There will be much more on this in the Saturday series “Traditions, lies, and Truth” in the weeks to come. Be on guard little children for the religious demons are thick and unmerciful. Now, let’s move to our primary text from the Bible Book of John reading it aloud.
John 7:21-25 (KJV)
21 Jesus answered and said unto them, I have done one work, and ye all marvel.
22 Moses therefore gave unto you circumcision; (not because it is of Moses, but of the fathers;) and ye on the sabbath day circumcise a man.
23 If a man on the sabbath day receive circumcision, that the law of Moses should not be broken; are ye angry at me, because I have made a man every whit whole on the sabbath day?
24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.
25 Then said some of them of Jerusalem, Is not this he, whom they seek to kill?
As you no doubt recall Jesus has just healed a man on the Sabbath and to make things worse, He referred to God (Jehovah) as His Father. They are enraged and want to kill Him for what they saw as blasphemy, making Himself equal with God. You see the religious devils were alive and well then effectively bringing spiritual blindness. In just a few years (70 AD) this spiritual blindness brought the total destruction of Israel and the diaspora (dispersion) of the Jews until 1948. The same thing has happened to the Church. The good news dear brothers and sisters is that the Lord will have a Church and that Church is arising. The question is this, will you be a part of this rising Church (without walls) or will you be content to play Church with the religious devils cheering you on. If the devils can’t keep us out of the Kingdom (being born again) they work day and night to make us ineffective in the Kingdom. Look around, this ineffectiveness is everywhere! They do this by getting us to adopt as true a corrupted theology. A corrupted theology is a lie that has elements of Truth but the corruption brings failure. It looks good, sounds good, but is a dismal failure with regard to the manifestation of the supernatural. Consider the following verse and I will move forward.
John 14:21 (KJV)
21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
In order to keep a commandment, you first have to know what the commandment is, guard that commandment from corruption (perversion), and do the commandment. Jesus plainly says that having and keeping His commandments is love. This love (agape) is the highest order of love, the God kind of love, the love that God is and that God has, the love that we are, and that we have. I have defined Bible love many times in the past but I will again as a reminder for us all and for the new comers to The Three Minute Word and the Kingdom of God. Love is a selflessness which we see in the coming of Jesus to bring us salvation and we see how that is to manifest in our lives in 1 Corinthians chapter thirteen. Love is obedience to the Word of God (this is the core issue). This obedience to the Word of God is incumbent not just upon us but upon God. In other words, God has given us His Word, it is a Blood Covenant sealed by the Blood of Jesus. God is as responsible to that Covenant as are we. Third, love is adherence to and a mindfulness of the Blood Covenant we entered in Christ Jesus.
So, what does Jesus say the outcome of love (being obedient to the Word, being selfless, and doing the Blood Covenant) will be? To be loved of the Father, to be loved by Jesus, means that they will perform the terms of this Blood Covenant as we do our part in the Blood Covenant. We always have a part, it may be to shut up and sit still but we will have a part and absent our obedience the Anointing, Power of God, will not manifest.

24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
