OBEDIENCE BRINGS MANIFESTATION
Tuesday – December 3, 2019, Kislev 5, 5780

Greetings my precious brothers and sisters in the Lord Jesus. Welcome back to this amazing Bible Study of the Book of John. If you are reading this on Facebook please take a moment and hit the “love” and “share” buttons to extend the reach of these teachings. Those saved rejoice and those not saved need to know that there is no other name under Heaven whereby one may be saved but the name of Jesus (Acts 4:12). Saved from what one might ask? Saved from all of the curse (poverty, disease) here in the earth and perishing (continuous destruction) not only here in this time but in the eternity to come. Each of us will always exist and be amazingly conscious. I want my eternal consciousness to be of Heaven and the amazing life, the adventure, of eternity bought for all at the Cross. I have rejected the devil as my father and the agony of Hell forever. Dear one if you are reading this and don’t know Jesus as Lord and Savior start an amazing new journey right now! Just tell the Lord, Jesus, that He is your Lord and that you believe He is the risen Messiah (Savior).
Romans 10:9-11 (KJV)
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
The pictures this week will be of various scenes. The picture today was taken at a drive through wild animal park outside of San Antonio Texas on a recent trip. This whole San Antonio trip was just over the top wonderful. Donna and I had a blast like little kids going through the animal park. God is so good. Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text from the Book of John reading it aloud.
John 14:21-23 (KJV)
21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
22 Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?
23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
You may recall that back in the fifteenth verse we heard Jesus say the following.
John 14:15 (KJV)
15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
So, let me ask a very simple, fundamental, question. What does it mean if we do not keep His commandments? Jesus said “if ye love me” keep my commandments. It seems to me that if we are not keeping His commandments we are saying, “I do not love (agape) you Jesus”. Perhaps we have love on some lesser level but not on a level that assures the manifestation of God in our lives. What are the consequences of not keeping His commandments? The very straight forward simple answer is that we are overrun with the curse. Read the verses in Deuteronomy twenty-eight starting around verse fourteen to the end and see how much of that you want to have or maintain in your life. What is the alternative? Obedience to the commandments of God, primary among them is to love (agape) God with all of our hearts, mind, and strength, and to love our neighbor as ourselves (Matthew 22:34-40).
By way of a reminder, love, Gods love towards us and us towards Him and others is one of selflessness, obedience to Scripture, and the practice of Blood Covenant. Are we able to say we love (agape) God or are we saying we like (phileō) Him like Peter (John 21:15-17)? Have we denied the Savior and turned aside to other gods like Peter? Denying the Lord and turning aside to another god like sports, fishing, children, and so on are the same thing. When we turn to another god, we are saying Jesus (God – the Trinity) is not first place in our lives. That is not to say that we are not to enjoy all sorts of people and things in our lives but the Lord must always be paramount without exception. When I say, the Scripture says, He is paramount, that means we are led of the Holy Spirit not our flesh in all things. Tomorrow Lord willing I will dive back into verse twenty-one of our primary text.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name!
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
