LOVE OBEYS
Wednesday – December 4, 2019, Kislev 6, 5780

Greetings my precious brothers and sisters in the Lord Jesus. Welcome back to this amazing Bible Study of the Book of John. If you are reading this on Facebook please take a moment and hit the “love” and “share” buttons to extend the reach of these teachings. Those saved rejoice and those not saved need to know that there is no other name under Heaven whereby one may be saved but the name of Jesus (Acts 4:12). Saved from what one might ask? Saved from all of the curse (poverty, disease) here in the earth and perishing (continuous destruction) not only here in this time but in the eternity to come. Each of us will always exist and be amazingly conscious. I want my consciousness to be of Heaven and the amazing life, the adventure, of eternity bought for all at the Cross. I have rejected the agony of Hell forever. Dear one if you are reading this and don’t know Jesus as Lord and Savior do so right now! Just tell the Lord, Jesus, that He is your Lord and that you believe He is the risen Messiah (Savior).
Romans 10:9-11 (KJV)
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
If you prayed to receive Jesus as Lord and Savior please write us to share the good news. As it relates to our study notice that until we obey this commandment we are not saved and obeying this commandment brings the manifestation of God into our lives. According to Jesus having (knowing) and keeping (doing) His commands is the highest order of the expression of agape (love). The pictures this week are of various scenes. The picture today is a beautiful ocean scene along the coast of Maine. Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text from the Book of John reading it aloud.
John 14:21-23 (KJV)
21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
22 Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?
23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
As we meditate on verse twenty-one above, we see very important connections between having and keeping the commandments of God and loving the Lord (God). Lack of obedience is prima facia evidence that we do not love (agape) the Lord. Perfect submission, obedience, of the commands of God (Scripture) or the witness of the Spirit within us yields the manifestation of God in our lives which is ALWAYS good. There are no bad manifestations of God in our lives, they are always good. God does not give us thorns in the flesh, poverty, or disease of any kind to teach us things or to give Him glory. To suggest such a thing is an abomination in my view. God has not given anyone at anytime the curse to teach them something or to work things together for our good and His purposes.
That is not to say that He cannot take our bad circumstances and bring great good from them as we are obedient before Him. Our bad circumstances are NEVER the will of God and are NEVER a failure on Gods part. They are always a failure on our part. In this life we must put up with things, Scripture uses the word “suffer”. We are not called at any time to die for the cause of Christ or to suffer financial insufficiency or physical disease, period. I do not believe for one second that the only way for Joseph to become second in command of Egypt was through the pit, slavery, and imprisonment. Nor so I believe that the Apostle Paul was called to be beheaded in Rome. Paul was called to share the gospel with Caesar but not be killed in the process. Jesus is our example and He walked away when threatened with death. Jesus was called to die and in so doing destroy the works of the devil. Those works are destroyed and our blood contaminated by sin is of no value to the Kingdom. Jesus is our pure, supreme, and far and away our primary example. We can learn much from all the characters of the Bible (the good, the bad, and the ugly) but they are not our pure example, Jesus is our pure example. Let me ask, was Jesus obedient to the commands of God? Yes, He was! How do we know? There was great manifestation of the goodness of God, only goodness, in His life. As we obey the Lord, the commandments of God we will have to put up with some stuff but not from the prospective of affluence and supernatural health (ours by Covenant in our obedience). As we walk in obedience, affluence, and health will manifest and we will be persecuted (they go hand in hand) which means the devil and those acting on his behalf will put pressure on us. Consider the following.
Mark 10:28-30 (KJV)
28 Then Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and have followed thee.
29 And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel’s,
30 But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.
Don’t listen for a moment to the poverty message so commonly heard in the Church, or that in some perverse way God is getting glory (manifesting His goodness) from our sicknesses.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name!
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
