AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH

POWER
Greetings dear and precious saints of God and welcome back to this in depth and powerful Bible Study of the Book of John. Our God is so very good and He is nothing but good. Anything that is not good is of our own making and courtesy of the thief. Dear ones we and we alone open the door for our Lord and the Blessing or for the devil(s) and the curse. I know that really rocks religious boats but they need to not only be rocked but capsized. We need to start walking on the Water (Word of God) and quit riding around in religious boats brimming over with the traditions of men, the doctrines of demons, and no faith for the things Jesus did nor the greater things He commanded us to do. We are at the verge of a new day dear ones! Awaken and walk in the light fleeing the darkness. The day of same o, same o must be put far in our rear view mirrors. Jesus did not come for what we see today in the Church and the world. Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary text and read it aloud, yes, out loud.
John 17:1-3 (KJV)
1 These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:
2 As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.
3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
As we pick up our study in this seventeenth chapter of John, Jesus is only a few hours before the Cross. Notice Jesus is not asking the Father to glorify Him. He is acknowledging that the hour is now and the Father is now to glorify (show the goodness of) the Son. In so doing, the goodness, the glory (glorify), of the Father will be manifest for all to see. If you are a man or woman doomed and destined for Hell forever there is no better news or goodness than that of a Savior, a Redeemer. We were condemned to the curse in the earth and eternity in Hell. Jesus came and now we can choose the blessing in the earth and eternity in Heaven. It just does not get any better than that! What a privilege that God should love us, what a thing that we were honored, valued, such that the highest price possible and ever paid was paid for our redemption. Oh, the goodness, the glory, of the Son and the Father. Now, those who choose Him are the sons of God.
1 John 3:1-2 (KJV)
1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. (Bold added)
2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
Oh, what love, what glory, what a picture and we are in it! Not as servants or slaves (except by choice) but as sons! Sons are of like kind (same seed) with God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. When we see Him, we shall be like Him, wow! Scripture tells us that in that day mortality will put on immortality.
Last week I talked some about the phrase “As thou hast given him power over all flesh”. I pointed out that the word translated from the Greek to English as ‘power’ is authority or dominion. In the beginning mankind was given dominion over all the earth. When man bent his knee to the Serpent that authority, but not our freewill, was gained by Satan through deception and maintained by deception.
Romans 6:16 (KJV)
16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
Our (mankind’s) ability to trigger the supernatural was severely limited until the Resurrection and the coming the Day of Pentecost. All authority was regained by Jesus and again delegated to mankind (who serve Him) by the use of His name (Power of Attorney). Then on the Day of Pentecost the Holy Spirit returned to fill, Anoint, and give the Power (Blessing) necessary to accomplish all the will of God spoken by the mouth of God’s sons. We are redeemed from the curse of the law of sin and death, authority (dominion) is restored and so is the Blessing, the Power of God.
Galatians 3:13-14 (KJV)
13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
We have the promise of the Spirit!
Luke 24:49 (KJV)
49 And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.
This power is dynamis according to Strong’s Talking Greek & Hebrew Dictionary meaning ability, abundance, meaning, might, and miracle working ability. Why are we so slack?
As I end for today remember there is an election coming on the 3rd of November 2020. Each of us have an obligation before God to be good stewards of our government and vote the Bible. Remember, God is pro-life, pro-free enterprise, pro-Israel, and pro-self-defense (Second Amendment).
2 Chronicles 20:20b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
