RECEIVING FILLS UP OUR JOY

Wow, another week of the Bible Book of John almost to a close. Thank you for your diligence to study showing yourself approved, not to me, to God, that you (and me) need not be ashamed. A lack of study brings shame. The rebellion of the Church in this Pandemic has laid bare the lack of rightly dividing the Holy Scripture by leadership and pew alike. This exposed shame is just exactly as the Lord spoke through me on the 15th of March 2020. Not all Churches rebelled, many complied to their great credit. The featured picture today is of Donna and me on that joyous day (our Wedding) last May. Please take a moment to share this teaching as widely as possible to expand the reach of the Truth. It is the Truth that makes us free not rebellion.
John 8:31-32 (KJV)
31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
1 Samuel 15:23 (KJV)
23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.
May the rebellious saints, Church repent, walk in the Truth and experience the fulness of freedom in Christ Jesus. Church leaders, primarily Pastors have led whole flocks into disobedience to the Word and rebellion of authority which is also disobedience to the Word of God. Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text and read it aloud, yes, out loud.
John 16:23-25 (KJV)
23 And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.
24 Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.
25 These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the Father.
The key for access to the Covenant table that Jesus set and paid for is our declaration that He is our Lord and we believe the Father raised Him from the dead. At the moment we received Jesus as Lord we were ushered into the Most Holy Place, we became a part of the bride of Christ, and like a bride in the natural we were given, we were called by His name. When we came to the Father, we don’t come in our name but in His name, which is now our name as well.
James 2:7 (KJV)
7 Do not they blaspheme that worthy name by the which ye are called?
James 2:7 (TLB)
7 And all too often they are the ones who laugh at Jesus Christ, whose noble name you bear.
Throughout Scripture we are told that we bear His name when we are His, when we bow our knee, and make Him our Lord, our God.
2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV)
14 If my people, which are called by my name, …
Isaiah 43:7 (KJV)
7 Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.
When we come to the Father, He sees us no different than He sees Jesus. It would be more accurate for me to say when we speak to the Father rather than when we come to the Father for, we are seated at the right hand of the Father in Christ Jesus.
Hebrews 1:3 (KJV)
3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; (Bold added)
Ephesians 2:6 (KJV)
6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
As I close for today, let’s look back briefly at verse twenty-four of our primary text and the phrase “ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.” It looks to me like Jesus and the Father want us to receive more than we do. Notice the emphasis is not on the Father or Jesus but upon us, our joy. What a wonderfully good God we have. We are family, it is the Father’s delight to do us good. When will we do the Scripture (Covenant obligations) and receive (Covenant benefits) then our joy will go through the roof? It causes great joy in our Heavenly Father when we appropriate Kingdom benefits, as we are about the business of the Kingdom. Remember, the work of the Kingdom of God is not sweat and toil.
Matthew 11:30 (KJV)
30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Is your yoke easy and burden light? If not, it is not God. Let us partake of the King of kings table that our joy may be full.
2 Chronicles 20:20b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
