THE GLORY OF JESUS

Greetings dear and precious people and welcome back to this powerful Bible Study of the Book of John. Please take a moment to share this teaching and all others as widely as possible. The picture today features Woody the Woodchuck in our backyard. Donna has some old boxes outside that she enjoys having and he has been caught gnawing on one of them on two occasions. His life hangs in the balance. None the less, this tranquil scene is in sharp contrast to the turmoil that is ongoing in our nation as I write this (1 June). None of this is of God, it is all the devil. Remember the devil is the thief and he is come only to steal, kill, and destroy. The traditional Church is unfortunately impotent in the face of our very lethal enemy. However, there is a rising remnant that will recover all that has been stolen.
1 Samuel 30:8 (KJV)
8 And David enquired at the LORD, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all.
Nothing in the earth is outside of our jurisdiction, our authority. All of this chaos is being allowed by the Church. We, the Church, are the governing authority in the earth. As Joshua said to the tribes of Israel after coming into the Promised Land, how long will we be slack? All authority is ours; all things belong to us in Christ Jesus, even all the earth. If we are waiting for God to handle this without us doing our part, exercising our authority in faith, or if we are of the mindset that this is just the way it is until Jesus comes, we are in darkness and will experience stealing, killing, and destroying in our lives. Do not hear something I am not saying. There are going to be lots of storms before the end and they are going to be horrific but we have the choice of letting them have access to us or not. The traditional Church is in gross darkness, which they have chosen. This traditional Church which includes many that think they are on fire, have a tiger by the tail so to speak, are blinded having chosen the traditions of men and the doctrines of demons. This obvious blindness is so sad to watch. My prayer for these blind shepherds leading a blind flock is the following Scripture.
2 Timothy 2:25-26 (KJV)
25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;
26 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.
There is a rising remnant that will bring much-needed hope, words of Truth, and the Power of God to the world and to those in the Church who will receive and believe the Truth. This remnant, like the group Jesus led, which exploded in numbers after His ascension in the Book of Acts will shepherd a great awakening, revival. They will turn the world upside down just as did the early Church (Acts 17:6). As it was at the beginning of the Church so it will be at the end. Unfortunately, the end will come with the traditional Church remaining in deep darkness. Our victory is not in the jump, holler, and singing, but in the receiving of the pure Word of God, believing the pure Word of God, and doing in faith the pure Word of God, in love, led of the Holy Spirit. Then we will be doers of the things Jesus did and the greater things (John 14:12). Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text for our study and read it aloud, yes, out loud.
John 16:13-16 (KJV)
13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
15 All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
16 A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me, because I go to the Father.
The Spirit of Truth will glorify Jesus. There are many words which we find in the Bible and are used in Church but not in our common day to day conversations. In fact, many of them are commonly sung and spoken of in Church and most don’t have a clue what is being said. How sad. These are what I call Church words which for the most part or undefined for the people in the pulpit and pew alike. These are words like we find in verse twelve, ‘glorify’. There are many such words, another very commonly used word is hallelujah. What does the word ‘hallelujah’ mean? It is a compound word meaning praise the Lord most vehement. What about the word ‘praise’? As we are winding down for today, let’s look at this 14th verse in the God’s Word translation.
John 16:14 (GW)
14 He will give me glory, because he will tell you what I say.
The Glory of God is a person, the person of the Holy Spirit. This feature or part of the personality or function of the Holy Spirit is to manifest the goodness of God. The glory of God is the manifested, in the physical realm, goodness of God. Specific to the text, the goodness of God being manifested is the relaying of information from the mouth of God to us. Other manifestations of the Glory, the goodness of God was the fire by night and the cloud by day that led the children of Israel in the wilderness. The manifestations we observe in people at and following salvation is the glory, the goodness, of God. Any good thing manifested to us of God is the glory of God. The ultimate, the absolute pinnacle of the goodness of God, the glory of God, was the Word (God Himself) become flesh for our benefit.
2 Chronicles 20:20b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
