THE PROPHETIC VOICE – PART THREE
DO PROPHETS WALK THE LAND – ARE THEY RELEVANT
Sunday – July 7, 2019, Tamuz 4, 5779

Greetings precious brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus and welcome back to this powerful, informative, and insightful study of Prophets. I trust that this is useful to all either to confirm anew or consolidate current knowledge or knowledge that may have slipped away. For some this may be new territory. I encourage all to be good Berean’s.
Acts 17:10-11 (KJV)
10 And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews.
11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.
At the top of these studies is the phrase “The Prophetic Voice” and two questions “Do Prophets walk the land” and “Are they relevant”. You might ask what I mean by “The Prophetic Voice”? The Prophetic voice in the earth is the Prophet. The Words that are spoken by the Prophets come from our Lord Christ Jesus to His body in the earth. The origin of those Words is the Father. The transmission from Jesus to the Prophet, the spirit of the Prophet, is by the agency of the Holy Spirit. This is exactly the way it worked and was demonstrated in the earthly ministry of Christ Jesus, and all the Prophets before and after. Consider the following verse.
Revelation 10:7 (KJV)
7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.
In this verse we are told that there is a coming conclusion of the mystery of God, for this age, and that mystery was (past tense) uncovered or brought to light by the Prophets of God. In the following verse we find that “the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy”.
Revelation 19:10 (KJV)
10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
Something that seems relevant here is to never forget that in eternity past Jesus was and has always been the Word, the Word of God, a co-equal person of the Triune God.
John 1:1 (KJV)
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The one we call Jesus today, since the womb of the virgin Mary, has always existed but not as Jesus which means Jehovah saved. When we see in the “Old Testament” that the Word of the Lord come unto someone it is a reference to the One we now call Jesus. The following Scripture is but one example of many.
Genesis 15:1 (KJV)
1 After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.
Now, let’s look back to Revelation 19:10 and note that the word “testimony” is also translated ‘evidence’. Prophecy is evidence of Jesus. Prophecy is evidence of Jesus. Jesus is the voice of God, the Word. Do Prophets walk the land today? We must answer with a resounding yes based on Scripture. I will be presenting much more evidence over the following weeks. Are Prophets relevant today? Again, we must give a resounding yes. This is how mysteries are uncovered and what gives God license, authority, to accomplish all His will in land. With this in mind let’s closely examine the following Scripture.
2 Chronicles 20:20 (KJV)
20 And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper. (Bold added by Dr. Wood)
Has this Scripture become irrelevant somewhere along the way? Do we still need to believe, have faith, in the Lord our God to be established in Him, in the Kingdom? Of course, we do! What about our prosperity being linked to believing the Prophets? I am talking about Kingdom prosperity, spirit, soul, and body which is both spiritual and physical (wealth in the earth).
Proverbs 10:22 (KJV)
22 The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.
Yes, the word ‘rich’ here means lots of money and assets. Being made rich by the Blessing is solid and has no sorrow attached.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it by faith in Jesus name!
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
