AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH

THERE SHALL COME FORTH
Greetings dear and precious saints of God and welcome back to this wonderful and empowering study of the Bible Book of Isaiah. If you are not yet a saint (a Bible term for anyone born again) become one right now. Declare out loud Jesus is my Lord and I believe God raised Him from the dead. By the words of my mouth and faith in my heart I am saved, amen.
Romans 10:9-10 (KJV)
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Welcome to the Kingdom of God, welcome to the Light. The first quarter of 2022 will soon be in the history books of earth and Heaven. As we examine ourselves can we confidently declare we have moved forward and moved the Kingdom of God forward or are we treading water? Before I move forward, please take a moment and share these teachings as widely as possible to expand our reach with the Truth, the Word of God. Thank you for sharing. The featured picture today is of the Supreme Court Building for the United States. This week I will be featuring Federal government buildings as a reminder to pray for our government (not to curse them but bless them driving out the curse) as commanded. Praying for those in authority is not optional, it is a command. After all, we are responsible for putting them in authority.
1 Timothy 2:1-3 (KJV)
1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
Now, let’s turn our attention to our Isaiah text continuing to read out loud. Yes, out loud, and you know why.
Isaiah 11:1-3 (KJV)
1 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:
2 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;
3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:
I hope we all can plainly see that once again God has directed the pen of Isaiah to Prophesy of the coming Messiah. This ‘rod’ out of the stem of Jesse is Jesus, the Seed, the Messiah and that word means a fresh shoot or fresh twig according to The Complete Word Study Dictionary – Old Testament. The Messiah came by way of Abraham in Blood Covenant and there are twelve generations from Abraham to Jesse (Luke 3:32-34). Twelve is the number of God’s perfect government. Takes us back a couple of chapters.
Isaiah 9:6 (KJV)
6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
A rule, by the Kingdom of God, will once again return to the earth and the Head of that Kingdom will be the coming ‘Child’ the “rod from the stem of Jesse”. Jesus is the King of kings; you and I dear ones are the kings (little k). The government of God in the earth is upon the shoulders of the Church, which is you and me dear ones, as directed by our King, Jesus. All authority was given to mankind in the beginning, it was lost in the rebellion (treason), however Jesus got it back and gave all authority back to the children of God (you and me).
Now, let’s take a look at the word “Branch” which is capitalized indicating divinity. The Strong’s Talking Greek & Hebrew Dictionary defines “Branch” as meaning to guard, in a good sense to protect, maintain, and obey. That’s our Jesus!! The phrase “his roots” is referring back to Jesse. Jesse is of the Tribe of Judah (Luke 3:33) and our Lord is referred to as the Lion of the Tribe of Judah.
Revelation 5:4-6 (KJV)
4 And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.
5 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.
6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.

2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, doubt it not, and speak over yourself and your family in Jesus’ name!
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
