WE MUST NOT BE OFFENDED

Greetings dear and precious friends and partners of this Ministry and The Three Minute Word blog. If you are reading this on Facebook please take a moment to “love” and “share” this teaching. The featured picture today is of a beautiful sunset in Poth, Texas taken by a wonderful friend of mine. God is so good and wonderful. He is nothing but good, He is not the source of Coronavirus or any other thing that is part of the curse (Deuteronomy 28:14-68). Deuteronomy 28 and many other references tells us exactly how to walk in the blessing and how not to walk in the curse (and vice versa). Why do we choose the curse time and time again? The curse came by way of sin and enters each of our lives when we step aside from the Word of God (Deuteronomy 28:14-15). The Blessing is activated and maintained in our lives by our proactively listening too, looking at, and doing the Word of God.
Deuteronomy 28:1-2 (KJV)
1 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:
2 And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.
Being proactive means the taking of action to control a situation rather than just responding to it after it has happened according to Smart Lookup. The pestilence of the Coronavirus, every pestilence (curse) before and everyone to follow (and there will be many of increasing intensity unless the Church repents) is impacting the Church just like the world due to the Church turning aside to other gods, other words. The primary wickedness in the Church is unbelief. This unbelief comes by many avenues but in the end, we choose to believe other words, and follow another Jesus. Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text in the Book of John and read it aloud.
John 16:1-4 (KJV)
1 These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended.
2 They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.
3 And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me.
4 But these things have I told you, that when the time shall come, ye may remember that I told you of them. And these things I said not unto you at the beginning, because I was with you.
Jesus is in the last few hours of His life and ministry in the earth as our Messiah, the one and only unique, one of a kind, Son of God. Because of Jesus many sons (Hebrews 2:10) have come to the Father. Jesus is the only Son to come from full divinity and return to full divinity. We, Adam, was never fully divine although Adam and we are of the divine nature (2 Peter 1:4) in the likeness and image of God (Genesis 1:6). We will never be divine which is to say being all knowing (omniscience), all powerful (omnipotent), and all places present simultaneously (omnipresent). Well, that was a little bunny trail, Holy Spirit led, benefiting someone. The Bible was not written in chapter and verse that was added later as a way for people to easily find references. On the other hand, it also leads to people ignoring context by focusing on a single verse and failing to contextualize the verse. I bring that to our attention for this first verse of the sixteenth chapter of John is an ongoing lengthy discourse by Jesus to those disciples and to us. Jesus tell them and us that this information, Truth download, is so that they and we will not be offended. The Truth makes us free. At its core the Truth is the Word of God. The Word and Jesus are one and the same. Listen to what the Master Himself says about the Truth.
John 8:31-32 (KJV)
31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
Jesus equates continuing (doing) in His Word to knowing the Truth and seeing good change. So, what would it be if what we are hearing, seeing, thinking is not in the Word? It would be an untruth otherwise known as a lie. Would this allow or bring the curse into our lives? This idea of continuing in the Word is not passive and it is not reading a chapter a day or watching a sermon while doing fifty other things. According to Strong’s Talking Greek & Hebrew Dictionary this word “continue” means to stay (in a given place, state, relation or expectancy), abide, continue, dwell, endure, be present, remain, stand, or tarry (for). Dear saints of God we have got to quit this admixture that is in our lives and live by faith, that is totally dependent upon God, the Word and the leadership of the Holy Spirit. Jesus tells us that knowing the Truth, knowing the Word of God (and doing it) will prevent offense. I will pick up right here tomorrow. Remember God is good and nothing but good, He does not bring anything bad into our lives and He is not controlling any of this. God is not in control of the curse or the individual decisions of our lives, quit repeating that lie of the devil.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
