CRUCIFY HIM

Greetings precious children of the Father and welcome back to this powerful and life altering Study of the Book of John. Please take a moment to share this Bible teaching as widely as possible. The featured picture today is of Donna and me at Cornerstone Church in San Antonio Texas for a Night to Honor Israel in late October 2019. We were disappointed that due to COVID-19 we were not able to attend again this year, but we still honor Israel. COVID-19 remains a reality in our lives. The presence of COVID-19 and its persistence are all the responsibility of the Church. Dear ones whether you have been taught or have studied to show yourself approved or not, we, the Church corporately and individually have dominion over this and everything else and the Power (the Blessing) to back it up. What has happened. Unbelief. The devil is astonishingly good at presenting distractions to God’s people that take them off what they should be focused on. Repentance of God’s people followed by the exercise of dominion will stop this thing. How long will the Church walk in darkness and rebellion? Please do not fatigue in well doing. Let’s focus on the blessing and not the curse, focus on Jesus and His Word and not the lies of the devil.
Obey the mandates (1 Peter 2:13-15, Titus 3:1-2) and please the Heavenly Father. Let’s try trading in our rebellious attitudes and actions for a submissive and supportive attitudes. Let’s allow the Lord to show us, all of us, how to turn what the devil intended for evil to good. The author of rebellion is the devil. With the Lord’s help, proper Godly attitude, and focus we can spiritually explode expanding the Kingdom of God for the glory of God. This is a wonderful time to prune away all the unproductive and counterproductive areas of our lives. This will not happen for those in disobedience to the governing authorities for this is sin. Let’s be a blessing to those in authority over us and not a curse. Now, let’s turn our attention to the primary text of our Bible Study and read it aloud, yes, out loud.
John 19:5-8 (KJV)
5 Then came Jesus forth, wearing the crown of thorns, and the purple robe. And Pilate saith unto them, Behold the man!
6 When the chief priests therefore and officers saw him, they cried out, saying, Crucify him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Take ye him, and crucify him: for I find no fault in him.
7 The Jews answered him, We have a law, and by our law he ought to die, because he made himself the Son of God.
8 When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he was the more afraid;
In spite of great physical abuse, psychological assault, and spiritual warfare our Lord remains calm and unmoved. Pilate brings Jesus out to the spiritual leaders of the day and says for them to look at Him. These spiritual rulers upon seeing Him started demanding that He be crucified. Again, Pilate tells them that he finds no fault with Jesus. The leaders are intent upon killing Jesus and crush this rising remnant of believers however as we know they will fail most miserably. The most important event in all of history is unfolding, the redemption of mankind. The Jews (religious leaders) then tell Pilate that by their law He (Jesus) ought to die because He made Himself the Son of God. Even those these leaders had heard Jesus teach the following parable they are now playing it out. See how powerful and blinding envy can be.
Luke 20:9-17 (KJV)
9 Then began he to speak to the people this parable; A certain man planted a vineyard, and let it forth to husbandmen, and went into a far country for a long time.
10 And at the season he sent a servant to the husbandmen, that they should give him of the fruit of the vineyard: but the husbandmen beat him, and sent him away empty.
11 And again he sent another servant: and they beat him also, and entreated him shamefully, and sent him away empty.
12 And again he sent a third: and they wounded him also, and cast him out.
13 Then said the lord of the vineyard, What shall I do? I will send my beloved son: it may be they will reverence him when they see him.
14 But when the husbandmen saw him, they reasoned among themselves, saying, This is the heir: come, let us kill him, that the inheritance may be ours.
15 So they cast him out of the vineyard, and killed him. What therefore shall the lord of the vineyard do unto them?
16 He shall come and destroy these husbandmen, and shall give the vineyard to others. And when they heard it, they said, God forbid.
17 And he beheld them, and said, What is this then that is written, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner?
The “certain man” is Father God, the “husbandmen” are the Jews, the three servants are the prophets, the son is Jesus. The vineyard for a season is given to the Gentiles (us – the Church). The “builders” are the Jews and Jesus is the “head of the corner” of the Church. The husbandmen killed the son outside the vineyard just as these are about to kill Jesus outside of Jerusalem. Know and understand that after the day of judgment God will regather the Jews and they will be a nation before Him forever in the new earth. Listen to the following passage, it is wonderful news for the Jews (Hebrews, the natural seed of Abraham) but for us as well, the Church.
Romans 11:25-29 (KJV)
25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers’ sakes.
29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here next Monday.
2 Chronicles 20:20b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
